Exceptional service from Asst. Manager Bobby for a return which we purchased at the Clayton,Ga store. We lost the receipt but he honored our return and issued a gift card for the amount. He was very understanding and came up to the service desk when the supervisor called him up to help when he wasn't going to help us.

I came with my father to return some items that he lost the receipt for. At first, the supervisor turned him away because the item was not able to be scanned into the system because it was from another Home Depot. My father asked for a manager to discuss further. Bobby came over and immediately started to provide the customer service Home Depot is known for. I appreciate his quick and friendly service to help my father. Thanks!

Purchased a chain earlier that day but was wrong length. So took chain back to have cut and could not find an employee. So we used the machine that did not have a do not use sign on nor was it electric. Once we started using an employee finally decided to come over. He then accused us of stealing the chain we needed cut and told us we were not aloud to have the chain cut at their store. We have never had difficulties with a Home Depot like we did with this one. The crappy employee was Dakota with a pony tail. Would of gone to lowes if I wanted that sh***y service. Employees name is Dakota and he is a lil large with a pony tale. Update- Went to ace hardware and told them what happened at home depot and they cut it for us no problem! That's customer service! This is by far the worst Home Depot we've been too! Get better management so other companies don't have to fix your mistakes!

I went in to find an LED light bulb and we (me and the store manager) couldn't find it anywhere, so I just decided to get a different kind which was sitting above a price tag of $13. I went to self checkout, and it rang up for $54, so I was confused on why. Me and the lady working self checkout went back to the light section to see what happened, and apparently it was placed above the wrong tag which wasn't even their fault, and they gave it to me for $13! Being nice to the employees can make all the difference at places even though they probably would've done that anyways :) Thanks guys!!!

When I bought my house I bought all new appliances from Home Depot. Because of Covid lots of delays happened which I totally understand. After not getting my scheduled delivery of a washer and dryer, stove, fridge and dishwasher totaling over $4000 I went to the store. After several hours the managers decided to give me all the floor models at the store since they didn't know where my shipment was. Okay fine. That day they delivered only the washer and dryer. They hooked it up and before they even left I started a load of laundry because I hadn't had a washer or dryer in over 6 weeks. Water leaking and sprayed everywhere. I stopped the washer ASAP and ran out and told them. They came back in and reconnected and then I had no more issues except a super wet floor that I was very mad about. Now the rest of my appliances haven't come yet. I asked when are they coming? Tomorrow they said. Tomorrow. Tomorrow came and went and so did a week! I continue to call and then yes over a week later I get my stove, dishwasher and fridge. They installed the stove first and when they plugged it in my breaker went out. Mind you my previous stove worked just fine I just wanted a new one. So now I have to call my electrician because this stove has blown the electrical box and even burned a hole and wires in my basement. Omg! Are you kidding me! $289 later from my electrician my box and wires are fixed. Home Depot takes back the stove to bring another. They install the new fridge and it works great but is missing a part. They drop off the dishwasher and won't install. So my plumber comes and installs the dishwasher for $75 and guess what the dishwasher doesn't work! I call and call and call Home Depot again and get the worst management experience ever. I finally get a new stove again and this one doesn't break my electric box or outlet. I still have a dishwasher that doesn't work that they delivered. I call and call and call and nothing. Again I paid over $4000 for all these things. No discount no payment for my electrician because of damage they caused! No new dishwasher that works and no credit or refund! I finally go to Lowe's and buy a dishwasher that works even though I already paid for one at Home Depot! Lowe's comes right away the next day and then my plumber hooks up the new one. Wow it works! This store it's management and staff must be some of the rudest inconsiderate people I have ever met! They could have burnt my house down and did nothing. During this entire process they did nothing but caused more problems. I will never ever shop at any Home Depot ever again. This has got to be one of the most terrible experiences I have ever had. Please keep in mind I was remodeling my house and had also spent well over $3000 on other items for my home. These were Home Depot employees that installed the items and not a third party. I hold Home Depot completely responsible for all my damages and just thank god my house didn't burn down because of them.

Local Moving Company is Grateful for Home Depot. We were in the area helping a customer with her move and the job required tools. Grateful for this husky tool box set just what we needed for this and future jobs.

I own stock in this company. As Warren Buffet maintains, you shop where you own stock. A no-brainer, but heck, I can't get it done. Ever. Always some reason. This time Chrissy in Appliances kept backing away from me while I told her what I wanted. I thought she was going to show me things. "I'm backing away because you don't have a mask on," she said. I'd forgotten. Couldn't she just nicely ask? Another (larger) sale lost. I've spent over $5k at Lowe's this year. Just can't get it done at HD, but I can't argue with the dividends.

I tried to purchase a Frigidaire 26cuft Stainless Refrigerator on the first day of their ad at the W. Asheville location to find out that none of their stores or any neighboring states had product available to purchase for the sale. Talked to Store Mgr and he said they said they were sold out and had no resolution, called Customer Care with same result. It was obvious they never had the product to sell and start the sale just being told they sold out on first day with no resolution. After several phone calls and disappointing results, I Had to escalate The issue just to have them finally substitute A comparable product but soonest availability was 25 days out. I ended up purchasing a refrigerator from Lowe's because they had plenty of refrigerators in stock after Home Depot had nothing in stock in a timely manner, even though I asked their corporate customer care if they could help expedite the delivery and they couldn't help me.

Not a bad place if you know where to look for what you are looking for. Don't expect any expert product knowledge. Nobody seems to know where anything is. Once you find it you have to push all the roll around steps out of your way to get to anything. All the aisles are cluttered and the employees have great hiding places. The prices are reasonable, that's about it.

I visit this store several times each month for different reasons. It is well stocked, and if you are completely self-directed, you will find what you need. However, if you need employee assistance with anything - a length of chain cut, assistance finding a very specific item, paint mixing - anything you could not do yourself, you will be hard pressed to find someone knowledgeable or available to assist you. In addition, they have gone to nearly exclusive self checkout. This is fine, again, if your purchase is straightforward. But when purchasing open stock small items (bolts, or items measured out by the foot, for example) knowing how to ring those things up can be confusing and frustrating. I miss the customer service element Home Depot was famous for, just a few years ago. It used to be very simple to find someone to help you with cutting lengths of PVC, or to advise you on grout purchases for tile projects. You need to be very self-sufficient (cut your own boards, PVC, or lengths of chain), or know exactly what you need, and where to find it, to have a successful shopping experience at this store.

We came in to pick up a shower we ordered online. There was only one person at the desk and it was about 5pm which you would expect to be peak hours. The customer service representative was handling something complicated with another customer. We waited for several minutes when another associate, who was not a customer service representative, jumped in to help.

Picked up 5/8 drywall and was beginning to load it up in my van by myself when an employee walked out to the parking lot and helped, at the other big store they watched as I loaded 8 sheets by myself, that's the difference. Thank you Home Depot.
