This place features a variety of furniture, art pieces and household items from vintage to contemporary. Lots of books and garden decor too. I've always enjoyed wandering through the Screen Door, and I've purchased some treasures here over the years.

Saw a painting with a price of $395 a day ago. Went back today and the painting was there but the tag was missing. Took the painting to the dark haired girl at the front desk who said she would contact the vendor and get back to me via text. She did. She said in her text the painting was not for sale. I replied that I found that odd since not 24 hours ago it was for sale (and in the same exact place today without tag). This was odd enough, for sure, but only to be outdone by the chronic odd behavior that is typically exhibited by the staff which is nearly hostile when you ask a question. Have made past purchases and weathered the acerbic attitude, but will not patronize again because if I should find something to purchase it cannot be taken for granted anymore that it will actually be for sale.

One of the best antique malls I’ve ever been to. Definitely a wide variety of things to buy.

Very fun place! Lots of eclectic items. I learned about it from a local who loves to go there. Bought two items for my garden.

If you're shopping for any type of furniture, I would not make a purchase before visiting the Screen Door. They have so many great options for whatever you may be looking for- plus the staff is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. They can help you find anything you need in this huge store!

We always visit the ScreenDoor when in NC for the interesting and great trinkets from all around the world. We always find something to take back home from cookware to clothing to vinyl... If we were local, I would be taking home some beautiful decor, but most won't fit in a check in.

I love going to the Screen Door when I visit Asheville. There are so many cool vintage finds and even a few new/barely used finds. And the prices are actually reasonable!!! Whether or not you are in the market for this kind of stuff, its fun to go look!

Welcome to ScreenDoor, the place where you're more likely to stumble upon a velvet painting of a bonsai tree than your average cat calendar. It's the store equivalent of a platypus - delightfully odd, but surprisingly functional. The arrangements here are so meticulously curated, you'd think a team of archaeologists had set them up. The displays are so thoughtfully laid out they could make a Swedish furniture designer shed a tear. And the prices are just as delicious, as if they took a detour through a happy hour. But wait, there's more. Or less, if we're talking about the friendliness of some staff members. Think less Santa's helpers, more Snow White's stepmother. Yes, in the grand opera of customer service, some here are singing a bit off-key.While many customers are as happy as clams at high tide finding deals and admiring upcycling ideas, others have left feeling as if they'd had a surprise cameo in a grumpy cat meme. This isn't 'The Devil Wears Prada' folks - a little sunshine behind the counter never hurt anyone.ScreenDoor is like a slice of delicious cake, but the icing sometimes tastes a bit sour. But hey, for that one-of-a-kind bonsai tree painting, it might just be worth taking the cake - and eating it too!

Nice selection of stuff. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because they don't take offers on most of their vintage pieces.

The woman in the front desk need learn about custom services because is someone with not good manners and attention to the customers. But in general is a nice place

I loved this place! I got a super cute metal bird for our landscape at home in Carrollton VA. I really loved how everything was set up in this store so beautifully! Very eclectic and well thought out set ups of some very interesting merchandise!

Always enjoy looking at the great variety of things, and always seem to find something I can't live without, particularly cement statuary! Makes my garden a unique sanctuary.
