It’s so colorful inside, and there’s many things to look through. Lots of great vintage clothing, too.

Lots and lots of antiques to look at and buy. No pressure. Take your time. Big enough building not to crowd you. Prices fair. Unusual variety. No admission.

This is a great store for the antique hunters . They had everything you can think of from music albums, sports cards, comics, furniture, clothing, knickknacks, and everything else in between. And prices are very reasonable so If you are in the area I suggest you stop by .

Great antique store. Plenty of space and tons of stuff. Obviously, most people know what their stuff is worth now due to shows or the internet but there is still plenty to choose from and the prices aren't too bad.

Be sure to plan on doing more looking than buying! As usual now days, everybodys watched too many fake shows on tv and thinks their antiques are worth a mint! Nice staff- hot inside of building- but they have fans!

If you're a time-traveling aficionado, Sweeten Creek Antiques & Collectibles is your DeLorean. It's teeming with antiques so incredible they might just make your monocle pop out. The staff here are generally so friendly, you'd be forgiven for thinking you've walked into a charming Southern novel. The displays are organized with a meticulousness that would put Marie Kondo to shame, making hunting for treasures feel less like a wild goose chase and more like a stroll in the park. The highlight reel includes an impressive array of vintage postcards and photos that will give you enough material to start your own throwback Thursday series on social media. But don't get too carried away in the sepia-toned nostalgia. There have been a few hiccups along the road. Let's just say, their customer service playbook could use a bit of polish in spots. The pricing can be a bit steep, raising an eyebrow higher than a snooty butler in an Agatha Christie novel. And whispers in the aisles suggest that the place might not be as "antique" as it proclaims. So, before you excitedly whip out your wallet to purchase that ‘rare’ 18th-century teaspoon, it might be worth doing a quick reality check - or rather, a price check. It's all part of the adventure at Sweeten Creek Antiques & Collectibles, a place where antiquing meets the thrill of the treasure hunt, occasionally punctuated by the growl of a pricing pirate.

Awesome antique store with lots to see. I didn't buy anything because they didn't have any but it was still great to look around.

Nice people here, a very good selection of things. They have a really awesome, big batch of post cards, mostly of local sights and historic buildings. Even some printed by the Asheville Post Card Company. It would take more than an hour to go through them all! They also have a selection of "Instant Ancestors," vintage photos of random people. I loved the name for them.

Can’t believe we found this place right before we were leaving Asheville. It’s a very cool place with all varieties of collections. Very well organized. The stuff is helpful and enthusiastic.

I have no problem with small businesses passing along credit card fees. I have big problems when: * they do so without properly informing customers. A small sign with small font off to the side is not proper legal warning. * they also place that surcharge on debit card use. Debit fees to a company are 1% - anything in excess of that by the company is a misrepresentation and shameless money grab. Store: clean. Also: non-vintage and non-antiques are about 75% of the offerings. "Collectibles" should come first in the business name.
