I have had a good experience with Telco over the years.Recently, Karl, the manager, helped me with investments and reviewing my accounts. I was able to walk right in and sit down at his desk. He followed up with emails and phone calls promptly. He made a further request on my behalf in a meeting and they offered me an arrangement that I am pleased with. They can offer competitive rates. I had an issue and he resolved it for me. Going into the bank and speaking in person worked best. The online banking works well for me. If I have an issue the online communication is fairly responsive.

I will never go back to a big bank. Telco lowered the rate on my car loan and helped improve my credit score. The Tunnel Rd. team is the best

Karl was incredibly helpful in getting my car loan, even when the finalizations had to happen remotely as I was out of town. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service that he provided all while being so covered up with other members needs as well. Thank you for all your assistance, Karl!

I have only good things to say about the Tunnel Rd. Telco Community Credit Union Branch. The customer service is professional and I have never had an issue with waiting too long. Karl, the Manager, is extremely helpful with issues with which I need assistance. I have been an loyal customer for 12 years and highly recommend them for general banking as well as car loans, mortgages, etc.

This location is terrible the employees tell you one h the big and when you do what they say suddenly that’s not right. Said I couldn’t transfer my money from my savings cause the amount was too high and then I call my old bank and ask for the transfer and no issue. What makes it even worse come to find out my account number they typed out wrong so looks like none of the people at the tunnel branch know what they are doing. They also like to give you weird and dirty looks if you ask for rolls of coins such as half dollars. Like do your job and get my money and stop with the rude facial reactions. Learn to work with the public or don’t have a job dealing with the public.

This is a horrible experience! I have attempted more than once to get some issues reconciled with no assistance. Long holds on the phone and when I go in person I get pushed aside and snickers. I am closing my account.

I've been here twice, and both times, there's been a group of at least 5 homeless people hanging out directly outside, so I've sadly felt unsafe to use the ATM.

My experience with these obnoxious jerks is almost too angering to address. So I won't discuss the specifics but to say that-- for over a year-- since they went to Mastercard (from VISA) for some reason the services they render fell, like rocks dropping off a cliff. One last comment: I called in-- and on this rare occasion got through -- to suggest that perhaps they had lost my deposit of a considerable sum, causing bill payments to bounce...and trigger late payment penalties. The snarky teller in her forties accused me of ranting, and I think it may have been because she kept interrupting me and not listening to what I was trying to explain to her. It turns out they had applied my deposit to someone else's account. No more of this aggravation for me. I'm gone.

They helped me buy my 1st car, 2nd and now 3rd. I fixed my credit because of them, but then I messed my own credit up When I had a heart attack and I maxed out a few credit cards. My rate on my new vehicle went backup Instead of 6% it's 13% even though at that point in time I had made all my payments all the time. But then I got behind and they worked with me so much and I am so grateful that they did not repossess my car. My interest rate should have stayed the name regardless of my credit score because I was golden with them until my health issues. But you know corporate is corporate, Carl and the rest of the people that work there are all awesome. They didn't take my car when I got behind and they let me get caught up. I really really really appreciate and I love telco and I recommend them to everyone. Not every bank's gonna be perfect, but I've used a lot of different banks and this is the best one ever. So thank you Talco for giving me a chance.

Karl Hosler at Tunnel Road is outstanding and do what ever it takes to help you accomplish your goal to the best of his ability and your credit level. All the employees there have been warm and welcoming.

These bank tellers have to be the most miserable individuals I have ever encountered when going to the bank. TWICE, the same girl, Alexis Dison (yes girl, because she has no customer service, acts like a child & speaks like a 15 year old) has given me an attitude & hard time with “understanding” what I’m asking or saying. It takes like 5 times for me to repeat myself saying the same thing for her to understand, yet she gets an attitude. When I walked in, she was having a conversation with another coworker & looked at me like I was stupid for waiting? She then looked up at me & said “can i help you” Then didn’t greet me. Okay… no wonder your sign outside says hiring. Alexis Dison either needs more training, to look elsewhere for employment, or a demotion.

I have had nothing but highly positive experiences at this branch. There has been a recent change of employees and while I miss the former ones, this new group is just outstanding. The manager was accessible and made himself available to assist me when I had difficulty registering for the new online banking site and since then, everything has been working well. The tellers are also wonderful. I would like to add a special note about the teller named Corlene. She is on top of everything, demonstrating proficiency and delivering the best of customer service on a consistent basis.I do not understand the other ratings as the experiences related by others do not match mine at all. I am very pleased to have left the former Asheville Savings Bank years ago. TELCO continues to live by its motto: "Where Members Matter".
