“Five stars are not enough, We rented a 26 foot U-Haul and had trouble with the after hours check in , spoke with the main call center about the issue for what seems hours. So we decided to call the dealer at Martina’s on a Sunday and she not only had us in the truck check in but she took time to actually do it from her phone and walk us through the process in less than ten minutes. Ten stars ?”

“When the downtown Uhaul location didn’t have the trailer we needed they sent us to Martina’s Thrift Store. What a lucky break. I wish every business was as friendly and helpful as this place is. Check-in was a breeze, the trailer was quickly hitched to our vehicle and they even assisted me in loading my bike. Plus the country folks running the place kept us smiling and laughing the whole time. This is my go to for Uhaul rentals in Asheville from now on and I highly recommend it.”

“Renting trucks and changing residences are not my favorite pastimes. Seriously. BUT: We rented a truck from U-Haul Moving and Storage of South Asheville at 3161 Sweeten Creek Road today. Dorey at the front desk was professional, helpful, and engaging. It was immediately clear that she was in it for the customer, and that she knows her stuff. A five-minute consult saved me headaches and some heartache. She moved several of us in and out efficiently, with great customer service. Targeting what we wanted and needed, answering questings, and getting us on our way in a timely fashion. Nice. Thanks Dorey. When returning a rental truck, it feels like it's way past time to get out of the da** thing! When you're done, you're done. I was tired and just ready to get on my way. Several trucks were stacked for cleaning, and I figured I was in for a wait. Not so. This was where Ty stepped in. He was already busy, but I got eye contact from 10 yards away, and a smile that said "I've got your back". He directed me to a place to park and immediately helped me gather my belongings, inquired about the day, and asked whether I had everything I needed. I got a smile. and a "...you're good to go". It was as smooth as parking your own car in your own driveway. Nice. Thanks Ty. I don't do many reviews. I have certainly never done one regarding a rental truck experience. I will wholeheartedly suggest that if you need a truck, visit these folks. They will get you on the road. t”

“I went in to find an LED light bulb and we (me and the store manager) couldn't find it anywhere, so I just decided to get a different kind which was sitting above a price tag of $13. I went to self checkout, and it rang up for $54, so I was confused on why. Me and the lady working self checkout went back to the light section to see what happened, and apparently it was placed above the wrong tag which wasn't even their fault, and they gave it to me for $13! Being nice to the employees can make all the difference at places even though they probably would've done that anyways :) Thanks guys!!!”

“Our U-boxes were shipped cross country to arrive at this Uhaul location. An unforseen issue came up with the delivery driver to delay our delivery, and Morgan, who handled the final delivery, went above and beyond to insure we got our U-boxes before Christmas. She truly went the extra mile. We also dealt with Valarie here regarding a billing issue and she was also quick to help us resolve this matter. Based on our dealings here we would recommend this location as they really showed us great customer service.”

“Kim offered great customer service on a stressful moving day. We found out the at check-in that our auto insurance did not cover commerical trucks. Kim offered us discounts on the rental to help offset the unexpected cost of getting insurance through Budget. She was very empathetic, professional and accomodating. She listened to my concerns and were able to made it a better overall experience. Because of Kim, I will definitely use this business again for truck rentals and car tinting !”

“I was blown away by how incredible my experience was! The woman who helped me (I believe her name was Jennifer, but I could be wrong) was one of, if not the most, kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and friendly people I've ever met. I was preparing to tow a u-haul trailer from NC to WA and had never towed anything before - she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed, gave me great advice, and really made sure that I felt comfortable and taken care of. I hope U-Haul knows how amazing she is, because she was the absolute best and I feel lucky to have been helped by her.”

“The good/great - I rented a cheap truck to move items that I wouldn't been able to move otherwise. What more do I want for $100?!Yes it is confusing to go into the mall for car rental services when it isn't clearly stated. Yes the lot to the trucks is hidden out behind the mall. No they are not abundantly staff. Yes the staff can be curt.All I can say is 2022 doesn't look to be shaping up to provide any more willing labor than 2021. Good luck to all those unsatisfied customers who don't want to pay more for a truck, but want a truck and to get pampered at the same time.”

“we were supposed to pick up a U-Haul we reserved but all of the company’s systems were down. one call to Penske and we had a 22’ truck in twenty minutes!!!! it was twice the price of u-haul, however, which is the only reason i didn’t give it 5 ⭐️’s. Kendra was very helpful!”
