I second the phone issue. Why do you guys have a phone number to the local branches if no one is going to answer? I have called for weeks on end about getting a money order cashedthat is $1,000 and I can't drive to every post office in Buncombe County to see if you guys have enough money. So I've called literally all of you and nobody will answer the phone to any post office branch. What is the point of having a number if none of you are going to answer?

Please answer your phones, it’s literally IMPOSSIBLE for people to get a hold of anyone and it’s tax payer funded. It’s wild how awful the customer service is!

I had a great experience at this location thanks to Kyle. It was my first time at this location and I will be sure to come here every time I need anything mailed. He answered every question I had with a smile and very friendly demeanor. I really appreciate Kyle for being so kind.

I used to get mail here at the p.o. boxes.Staff was always friendly and ready to answer any question I threw at them.Never missed or lost a package either!No complaints!

We had to take 3 kids, ages 4-11, to get passports this morning, as well as ourselves. This was our first time getting passports, so there was a lot of paperwork involved.Bob, who works in the passport office, is incredibly nice, patient, and thorough. Despite 3 kids, 12 hours post-Halloween candy crack-out session, we were done in less than 35 minutes. This happened, despite me having to run out to the Register of Deeds to get another copy of my 4 year old's birth certificate.Thanks, Bob! 5/5 stars for the passport office - service, speed, and friendliness!

One of the worst run post office is in the nation a total embarrassment to the country. The mail leaving this facility takes forever it is really slow and they messed with one of my packages. not recommend

We take a lot of things for granted in the U.S., like an efficient post office. A few years ago they wanted to privatize the USPS. Talked about how it wasn't efficient and wasn't "profitable" (though no one talks about whether our other necessary services - the military, for example - are "profitable."). I give the USPS on Coxe Avenue in Asheville 5 stars for efficient friendly service today in helping me renew my passport. They do good work, are super reliable when properly funded, and are one of the most underrated service providers in your life. Tell 'em thanks next time.
