I love having a refill store in the area even though I'm in Hendersonville! I also have found some of my favorite skincare here after trying so many different products for my horribly dry skin. AND i can refill them. Customer service is also great!

Shopping at Ware is one of my new favorite things. It’s comfortable, beautiful, and exciting to walk through the store. The products are useful and work well! I bought things for cleaning, cooking, and even some jewelry. It’s my go-to for home products now.

While it’s a great idea in theory the prices are nowhere near practical for the average person. Just went in to refill a 30oz dish soap container and the total came out to ~$15.00. I guess I just don’t understand how a company can buy these products in bulk and still charge more than double the price of just buying it in the store. Sustainability shouldn’t break the bank.

Love this place. Very cute jewelry and candles, and also some very thoughtful sustainable suggestions to help make the world a better place. A win for frivolity and a win for values. Have your cake and eat it too.

Such a beautiful store! I came in for the first time to refill, the person working was so sweet and helpful! I love all the products I picked up, including the shampoo and conditioner which I can’t recommend enough. Such a great experience here, thank you WARE! :•)

Can't believe I overlooked the brick-and-mortar last time I was in Asheville, but I purchased from their website after realizing what I'd missed. I received two amazing, plastic-free products within two days of placing my order (to be fair, I also live in NC), and the packaging was very sustainable. I love shopping local and weeding plastic out of my life!

I’m someone on my journey of sustainability and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! I wear scrubs for my job and love being able to refill my laundry detergent! It is highly effective and smells amazing! I love the atmosphere when I walk in the store, feels like I’m right at home! Kind people, great products.

This place has all 5 star reviews for a reason! They are hands down the best sustainable shop/refillery I've ever had the pleasure of living down the street from. I buy all of my household cleaning products here, and they all actually WORK and don't give me terrible skin reactions. Some of my faves are:• the dish and hand soaps, they clean everything very well and are not watered down, non-irritating and doesn't leave your hands felling dried out after use• the Chill deodorant, smells amazing, made with all natural clean ingredients and lasts most of the day. Most importantly - doesn't give me a rash when I use it, and the packaging is sustainable• wool dish sponges (get them while you can bc the company they buy them from are out of business now so what they have in store is all that's left. They last FOREVER and work better than I thought they would• ecoconut it dish/bottle scrubber it shaped perfectly for getting deep into the crevices and corners of all kinds of dishes and is powerful enough to scrub off food that dried to dishes that or anything typically tough to scrub• laundry powder - smells divine and works wonderfully, lasts me much longer than your typical laundry detergent and costs less. Generally I am very sensitive to detergents, and this laundry powder never gives me an issue. It also doesn't make your clothes smell violently of the scent after washing• food huggers! These are a game changer when it comes to saving things like onions, and covering opened cans or containersNot only are the products amazing - so are the staff. They are kind, knowledgeable, passionate about accessible sustainability and supporting the community

Wow. Walked in to this store for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised. Everything is organized and super aesthetic and it just feels like a really good stepping stone to transition to no plastic. We have access to these options, so why not? Loved all that they had to offer and I wanted to buy the whole store in once instant. Will definitely be stopping back in here! Recommend to anyone who is walking around in the West Asheville area.

A wonderful local spot to get super high quality and long-lasting products that you can feel good about. We've had a great experience here every time we've shopped in the store (Even when I shop with my newborn and a toddler who is curious and wants to touch and smell everything). These people are so kind and I love that they support other local businesses.

There are so many reasons I love Ware and will continue to shop with them despite now loving 2k miles from Asheville. This review is overdue and will be gushing with adoration so skip ahead of shine theory ain’t your thing. Their relationships with the people in their community and the products they stand behind are rooted in integrity and trust. I have felt informed and comfortable with every purchase over the years, and even when I was trepidatious about shifting to a new product from a big box product I NEVER felt pressured, guilted, or uncool as i have felt in other “eco friendly” environments. Gillie’s thoughtful product selection and informed short (IG) and long-form (blog/newsletter) lifestyle writing/content is super helpful and always weirdly timely for pressing questions I have (did you know some houses waste heat/cool/energy through uninsulated electrical outlets? I didn’t! I found that out in a newsletter where Gillie wasn’t even trying to sell anything.. just sharing info about energy-saving tactics for renters! Like who does that?!), and Megan’s commitment to communication about products and safe shipping even when the process is complicated is truly unrivaled in current retail culture as I’ve experienced it. I actually ENJOYED a harrowing missing package email exchange recently because Megan made it all easy and validated my experience. If you live locally, take advantage of the awesome refill station to cut down on bottle waste in your home (cleaners, bod products, SHOWER SOOTHERS) and if you live far away, join the newsletter and follow on socials and know that anything you order will be well made, lasting, and truly environmentally informed rather than performatively greenwashed. So much deep appreciation for this place and these people.

Ware is such an impressive shop. Great products ranging to the eco novice to the sustainability veteran. Beyond (and behind) the curated products — which are amazing and thoughtful — the people making the magic happen are phenomenal. I had several questions that were quickly answered on instagram. Shipping was fast, compact, communicative. Social messaging is relevant and real. Really great people doing great work, and I feel better knowing my money supports their work and purpose.
