I was happy to see decent material quality. But the store layout was so unorganized and hard to find anything or description on most items .Even discounted items aren’t cheap so it was pretty disappointing to have such a bad experience.Signs everywhere not to open anything but how am I supposed to buy items like curtain rods and handles without know what they look like and quality of product especially since most of it looked like retapped returns. While I’m having to dig around an associate comes to tell me they close in 2 minutes. Never heard of a mall closing at 6 pm which was very frustrating. Just emptied my cart and left .

Wow, just wow. Best furniture store in the world. What sets this store apart from other furniture stores I've worked in, and the ones I've shopped in, is Shelly. She is a DREAM to work with. She is attentive, funny, helpful, and creative. She has been there for me more than any other sales person in my whole life. Seriously.Also, everyone on the crew is awesome, but shout-out to my main gal. Give her a raise, she has earned it!!!Thanks!!

I was looking to purchase a sectional from the Asheville Outlet store, but since I live a few hours away, I called the store yesterday to double-check some details such as dimensions, color and the store’s rules for purchasing, third party shipper, etc. During these conversations, I spoke to three different associates - Amanda, Shelly and Madison. I really appreciated Amanda, as she was friendly and very helpful. But with the other two associates, Shelly and especially Madison, I got the feeling from their curtness and unfriendly tone they were annoyed with me and not wanting to help.I thought that both of them might’ve been having a bad day and just overlooked it. However, today in the process of trying to complete the purchase, I experienced the same attitude, as did my friend - who was at the store to help me purchase the sectional.I ended up not purchasing the item not due to the fact of the unknown damage on the sectional (that’s understandable) or the overnight promotion change that I was not informed about, but because of the unpleasant attitude from the associate I was speaking with today (Madison).I love West Elm and have been a loyal customer, but some of the associates at this Asheville Outlet location need to improve their customer service. If you’re going to be annoyed with questions, then your store should not encourage customers to contact the store by phone or Instagram with any questions.I was really put off by this experience and I can say that I will not be purchasing anything from this store in the future. I hope other customers will have a better experience than I did.

You can find good deals but the discounts aren’t high enough for some badly damaged items. They do a good job of keeping it tidy.

The worst customer service. Don’t buy anything from West Elm. I purchased two coffee tables on February 4 that supposed to deliver April 17.Rescheduled for May 30. And now supposed to be June 6. Nobody notify you, email you or call you. Credit card was charge more than a months ago saying that it was shipped. Absolutely unacceptable. Do not recommend anybody to purchase anything from this store.

This purchase was from West Elm store not the outlet.Horrible customer service ever. And have a very good reason behind my review. I ordered my sectional in Nov 2021. After my delivery within one week the ottoman cushion was not firm at all.. I complained then and I placed a replacement order in March 2022 and I still have not received my replacement couch to this date. They have scheduled multiple delivery dates and every time I called they said one part of sectional is not there. Repeatedly same situation all the time. I have been dealing with this for a year now and it’s become to a level it’s not tolerable . Two months ago customer said they will issue a discount on the couch for the inconvenience and I have not seen that either. And not only ottoman but even the couch cushion was not firm after month of usage. Two pillows are firm but one is not. I am keep having to fluff the pillow.It’s frustrating especially after paying $3900 approx on the sectional.Sorry to say but the service is more than terrible. That to from every agent I have dealt with on the phone.02.21.2023I finally got the replacement delivery today after 15 months and still only part of the couch was delivered and so now it looks uneven. And the initial complain about the cushion being not firm was not replaced either which is part of the other piece not replaced yet.04.26.2023Finally got all my final pieces replaced last week. And after all that hassle got compensation of $354 store credit. The replacement cushions are nice and firm. Good thing about it is that if ever cushions get bad it can be replaced by ordering the cores.

I came into West Elm, and bought some light fixtures and things for my bathroom. Shelly was super helpful and kind. It looked like a fun working environment with a very friendly staff. I will totally be coming back to buy from them again. I had a wonderful experience.

We walked in at 5:40 and started shopping. We found a couch we wanted to buy but at 5:55 the employee, an employee walked over and informed us that we had to get up and leave because it was her birthday and she wanted to go home and relax. I told her that the website said closing time was 7pm on google and she rudely told us that there are signs everywhere that say 6pm. This was on 2/5/23. Will not be returning.

I would not order from West Elm. I ordered a bedtime Dec 11. It took an entire month for them just to ship the items to the delivery center. And my delivery date kept getting pushed back further and further. They had zero communication with me throughout the process. I had to continue to reach out. I will not be ordering from them again.

I wish there was an outlet closer to my home town. It’s a hit or miss as far as what you can find and also some pieces are damaged but you can get lucky and find something nice for BIG savings. They usually have pieces of sectional sofas for very cheap.

Ordered a bed in March and I still don’t have it! They said after the 4th canceled delivery appointment that they can’t find my bed and it may take weeks to locate it!!!!! Terrible. All they can say is, “we are manually searching the warehouse so it may take some time. We don’t know anything else!”

Sorry, way over priced. The selection is a joke compared to the At Home store. You will not find what you want or need. You will only settle for what is in front of you. The aisles are tight and the selection sucks. And the prices are astronomical compared to the At Home store. No I don't work for The At Home store but the place is phenomenal compared to West Elm, Lowe's, Home Depot or any trying to give you Home options
