Went for a drive today and stopped in for a drink and gas. Glad we found this little place, because the food is delicious. Staff very friendly. Definitely will come back.

Good food. But watch out for “shadow”. She’s kinda snappy. Looks like she/it used a whole thing of eye shadow at one time or she’s impersonating a raccoon.

My husband and I were down from NJ, had rented a U-Haul trailer from this location in Aurora, NC. We spent over 2 hours attempting to pick up the trailer, to be told there was nothing anyone could do at Terry's Mini Mart and we had to call UHaul. During the 1.5 hours I spent on hold trying to get to the department I needed. I google searched for UHaul locations and found a different place for pick up. It was confirmed that they had the trailer size we had reserved, they took our reservation number and began working on transferring our reservation to them. It was around a 30 min drive to get to the new location. At Terry's Mini Mart I was told the district manager was not available to help with the issue. When I arrived at the new location, they were on the phone with the district manager swapping the reservation. Come to find out, the initial problem with the Terry's Mini Mart seemed to be the individual did not know how to read out of state driver's licenses. My information had been manually entered wrong and was not matching my DL. I would ABSOLUTELY AVOID Terry's Mini Mart at all cost if you are looking to rent a UHaul. It is not worth the headache of trying to deal with them. I wish I could give them a 0 ⭐️ or negative star review....but I will have to settle for a 1 ⭐️ that they do not deserve.
