“Stopped in for a little outing with my 13 yr old daughter who loves beading. We weren’t really sure what to expect- maybe she would get a few cool beads, maybe we’d just browse. What I didn’t realize was that you can make jewelry while you’re there! We stayed for about an hour picking out beautiful beads and charms. You pay for every component to make your piece and Sheila helps to bring it all together. What a cool experience! It’s a quaint shop and so very peaceful. We had a lovely time and great conversation with Sheila who is very sweet and gentle. The shop also has some beautiful, natural, hand painted pieces. Sheila is quite the artist. It was a great experience for some mother/daughter time. Highly recommend!”
“I went by shop to see if they would be able to turn a sharks tooth I found into a necklace. The owner, Crystal, was so amazing! She wrapped the tooth into a pendant while I waited. She was super fun to talk to, and the pendant turned out beautiful! She even found a cord to put the pendant on so I could wear it ASAP. Definitely a 10/10 experience and I will be a returning customer :)”

“I wish I could give Studio 12 more than 5 stars. Every year when I come to OBX, I spend lots of time here working on various projects. The studio is bright, airy, and family-friendly. There's a wide selection of projects to choose from and staff (including Dawn, the owner) help to give advice and tips. They will even give a 1:1 class on certain projects. I cannot recommend it enough.”
