Ride Hatteras Surf Shop is a locally owned independent water-sports rental and retail store in Avon. The shop offers new and used gear for surfing, windsurfing, and paddle boards, plus surf apparel, rentals, and lessons for all skill levels. The employees and owner are super great, understanding, friendly, and super caring. Instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and provide an awesome experience. The company is flexible, understanding, and efficient, with the best and very reasonable prices that can’t be beat. They offer equipment drop-off and pick-up. For windsurfing lessons, surfboard rentals, or kayaks, it is a highly recommended company where you can’t go wrong. Customers definitely plan on returning.

We did two 24-hour kayak rentals. Prices were very reasonable. The gentleman working at the shop was great! Super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend renting from them!
