Island Passage on Bald Head Island in amazing! As a Southport local I still choose to go over and shop there rather then drive and shop other boutiques! My last shopping experience there was the best! They are very safe during COVID and make you feel comfortable! The staff was amazing during my trip, very helpful even though we were in a little bit of a hurry. As a mother of a 2 year old I have not bought any clothing for myself since before I was pregnant so this trip was meant just for that! I got some amazing outfits and accessories!

my name is Sarah Allison Lightner and I went over to Bald Head Island for the first time this week. It's a magical island with this wonderful store that i purchased a shirt from. well the bag slipped off my Walker and I didnt notice until I was back on the ferry. I thought it was gone for good, but the sweet young lady Sarah that works there found it and looked up my purchase and emailed me. At this point I believe the owner or manager Meg Davis said dont worry about it we

This is a dream place for the StitchFix crowd -- i.e. people who dig brands like Collective Concepts, Dolce Vita, BB Dakota, and Tart. For those of you not in the know, I'm talking about cute, flattering, expensive-looking clothes at a decidedly midrange price point: $50-$100, mostly in the lower half of that range. They're designed to appeal to those of us who sweat Anthropologie, Tory Burch, and J. Crew, but they're much more affordable. These brands use more synthetic fabrics than the more expensive ones their devotees also like. Even so, they're worlds cuter and classier than H&M or Forever 21. Until recently, this classy-midrange space had nothing in it whatsoever, and I'm so glad that these new companies have stepped up to the plate. Maritime Passage curates these brands beautifully -- it's the kind of shop where you want to try and buy everything. The sales staff pamper you but aren't overbearing. I wish there were more shops like this in the DC area, where I live -- aside from 3 Sisters in Alexandria, I know of none.

Great little gift shop on the island. You will find all of the typical gift shop wares including clothing, hats, and all sorts of tschotskes. However, they also sell cold drinks, hot coffee, locally made treats, and more.
