“In comparing grocery stores in Brevard, Food Lion rises above the others in virtually every category: Parking, wheelchair accessible, orderly, easy to find inventory, friendly, helpful staff, probably the most clean restrooms of any major chain, & the big one- PRICE/SAVINGS. They are consistently lower priced than their main competitor across the street, Ingles, in every department, particularly produce, frozen, & meat. They may not have a Starbucks, pharmacy, or a hot deli, but I'll happily trade all that for the savings & convenience.”
“So good! Eaten here twice and everyone in the place loved the food. Hostess helped with understanding the variety of dishes on menu. Can't say enough about variety and quality of the food. Small place but great food and fast service!”
“Convenient location and easy parking for those trying to avoid traffic and congestion in Brevard. Good bathroom. *No membership, telephone#, card, or key thing to swipe to buy at special lower sales price. Helpful customer service and staffed with cashiers. Carries lots of groceries, meats, produce, and alcohol, just about anything. If you are looking for a big bakery & deli for special occasions, go to Ingles , but this store carries lots of Ingkes groceries.”
“Not a traditional dollar store (where all merchandise is $1.00 or less), more of a discount store. Some good deals, if you look for them. Good variety for as small as the stores are. It can be summed up with this fact for this area: DG is the only chain expanding, rather than closing, in the post-Walmart era.”
Open 24 hours
10 Rosman Hwy, Brevard“Your one stop shop for everything you need coming into or leaving town. Pizza and wings are awesome on the run or to take home to the family. Even has a bar of ya need a little something to wind down.”
“Recent upgrades to offerings and consistent hours make this a place you can count on for a quick trip to get those things you need. Bravo to whoever owns this location.”
“The only real competitor to Wal-Mart on price in this town. Smaller selection of course, but minus the crowds, lines, & general chaos of W-M....and there's nearly one on every corner in Brevard !”
“We were near empty on gas headed up the mountain to Black Balsam Knob, and this was the closest station on the way back down. Eternally grateful to the man who attends this station for staying open past his listed hours because if he hadn't that night, we would have been sleeping on the side of the road in the wilderness without cell signal.”
