Ethanol-free 90 octane fuel is a treat! The cashier was friendly, the snacks were excellent, and the benches outside were what I needed

Always have been good and no problems filling up! Seemed friendly to us and just around the corner from my bros house. Cash only - no internet for cc.

So we had a female motorcyclist have an accident and stopped at this store because it was the closest to the accident scene. We asked the store owner if we could leave the bike at the store, out of the way of everything, not blocking anything. He then came outside and told us to park the bike across the street in the mud, next to the roadway that wasn’t even close to suitable to park a motorcycle. So the girl, who just was in an accident, limped the bike to the next town where people were glad to help us in any way… Very disappointed.

We were near empty on gas headed up the mountain to Black Balsam Knob, and this was the closest station on the way back down. Eternally grateful to the man who attends this station for staying open past his listed hours because if he hadn't that night, we would have been sleeping on the side of the road in the wilderness without cell signal.

Nice little family owned country store located in Balsam Grove. They have fuel and just about anything else one needs to survive. But be advised the last time I was there (May 2019) they only accepted cash.

May 2019 my buddy and I were running low on fuel. we're going to run out of gas on the Blue Ridge Parkway. met somebody at a lookout, told us where a gas station was. we backtracked a couple of Miles, got to 215 put the bikes in neutral and we coasted for 8 Miles lol. rolled right up to the gas station luckiest day of Our Lives.
