“My kids 2 and 3 had a great time and so did my husband and I. It's true the flumes are very muddy but who goes to these places dressed up? It's fun to get dirty.
We bought the cheapest bucket but made out good because my 3 year old found sapphires that someone else just left in the flume. Pro tip: some of the most valuable gems don't look like much in their rough form so be careful what you throw away.
I love how they tape the gems to the identification sheet.
