Lowes Foods is my new favorite grocery store. I ordered online for a pickup order at the Banner Elk store to pick up on our way to a vacation rental. The process was so convenient and easy to use. The staff was so friendly and personally called me to help me choose replacements. They were prompt and efficient and it was truly such a pleasant experience!

Best place to grocery shop near Beech Mountain. Otherwise you have to go to Boone.

Clean store with friendly staff. Great selection of craft beer. I was able to gather top tier camping provisions. Convenient location at a big intersection. Will definitely be back!

Once we discovered this store, it became our go-to for our trips to Banner Elk and Beech Mountain. Fresh produce and seafood, a great bakery, and nice deli and pre-cooked food options are a plus. And the prices are competitive, especially with sale and rewards items.
The only reason I’m giving four stars is because they need to improve on training employees. Our cashier was eating an ice cream cone, candy and some other snack and was not at all deterred when we entered her line. As a matter of fact, when we said hello to her, she responded with a mouthful of food and then laughed and kept eating while checking us out. 🤦🏼♀️
