Beaufort hotel is a beautiful hotel. My friend and I had a wonderful time staying here. The room was very clean and the services were great. Beaufort hotel is near downtown which is very convenient to drive to. There were a variety of activities to do. The only thing is that they don’t have customer parking on their hotel lot. We had to park at a lot that was further from the hotel. They do have valet but it’s $15 a day. We did have to walk a ways to get to our car. Other than that we had a great time.Nearby activities: There were a variety of nearby activities. Every restaurant we ate at was only 5-10 minutes away.

My daughter and I go on a road trip along the NC coast each year stopping along some various stops. We stayed here this past fall and it was definitely worth the 10 hour drive from Philly. I found the hotel on a whim and liked the reviews so I booked. I did communicate that it was be a very late arrive and that wasn't an issue until the shift changed and they didn't let the next person know and when I arrived they seemed quite agitated. Bumpy start but the rooms are hands down the very best rooms I've ever stayed in.The smell of the rooms...what ever they use is HEAVENLY. I don't know what the scent is but it smells like home and even after our long days of kayaking, the second we walked in and smelled the fresh rooms was just refreshing. The beds were SO comfortable...shockingly comfortable really!Beautiful bathrooms. Probably our favorite part. The only downside is the glass shower offeres no privacy so unless it's you and a partner it's a little awkward to share a bathroom. The towels were great. Very soft and large. There were robes and slippers.... honestly... I never know how they work. Do they work like room towels? Are they previously used? Do we take them? Wasn't sure so we just kept them right in the closet! ?The pool and hot tub area is great. Very well maintained and clean. On the day we used the hot tub they were working on it and after said it was OK to use again. It wasn't on so I called the desk and asked them about it. They said they didn't have a hot tub. ? they didn't know what I was talking about. Confused I doubled check what hotel I called (I was soaking wet and I was not about to walk through the lobby!) The lady at the front desk informed me they do not have a hot tub it's a jacuzzi and refused to tell me how to turn it back on. It was just an odd conversation that didn't have to be had. Thankfully a maintenance worker walked by and showed me.The grounds are nice and peaceful. Honestly it felt like a hotel resort out of disney world. It was very picturesque. We go to Disney often and it's definitely reminiscent of the hotels but with a southern twist. The restaurant was very good. Make a great steak- highly recommend!Aside from the awkward communication my only biggest issue was parking. Unless they change it... at the time it was valet only. Which is fine but to be exclusively valet is a bit annoying. We did a few day trips and would come back to shower and change and go into town for dinner. The valets were very nice- and fast but the app was horribly slow. I have no problem tipping but when they have to fetch my car multiple times a day it's a little crazy.Twice during my stay I needed to get something from my car after the valet hours which meant going to the front desk and having them find me keys me walk back to the back parking area, get my item and return my keys to the front desk and walk back to my room. Bottom line the parking is (or was) not what I would prefer. To self park it was explained to me it was across the street and what looked like a block and half away. It was a "nice walk" as a guy at the front desk said to me. I prefer the freedom to go and come as I please when I am playing that much for a hotel.I would stay here again- planning to for june actually. Even with the dang valet issues it's a great hotel and just a short drive from town. Albiet, the little things can be annoying but it wasn't anything that ruined our stay or enjoyment of the hotel.Oh and its BO'ford definitely NOT beauford (bee-u-ford)... the locals educated me quickly about the difference. Aparently it's pronounced differently in NC & SC ? but with my philly accent, it didn't help!

We were there for a Maker's Mark dinner, so perhaps not the typical dining experience, but we enjoyed dinner and the property. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom was really nice - especially the shower. All appointments were modern and on theme, adding to the ambience. We had a drink on the porch overlooking the water in a couple of comfy rocking chairs, which were readily available and spaced out enough that we could enjoy a private conversation. Food was excellent at dinner, and staff did a nice job of serving seamlessly despite the large group. After the event, we had drinks at the bar and were very pleased with the service: quick and personable. We left happy, and vowing to return for another visit.

This place is pretty cool. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The restaurant / bar is very nice. The docks behind the main building are pretty cool, and we enjoyed catching the sunrise on some of the chairs along the water. One thing that is different about this place is that all of the rooms are in a separate building, which is a little walk across a nice bridge. This wasn't a big deal for us but may be for someone with walking difficulties. The rooms were nice, modern, and clean. Views from the room were so-so.The hotel is not really very close (walking distance) to anything as far as we could tell. They do rent bicycles and golf carts, which is cool.

We arrived about 6:30 PM. The lobby was inviting and nice. The room was spacious and very clean. The view from our room was amazing. The front desk seemed annoyed when I asked for restaurant recommendations. Other than that a great place to stay. Be prepared to valet your vehicle and tip every time.Rooms: spacious and clean
