I wish I could have shared a better experience; I loved the store and the quality of their items. The shop was really cute and filled with fun gifts. My friend and I went in while shopping around Beaufort. We frequently visit Beaufort and I've always wanted to drop in. Both of us are married and in our mid-twenties (I'm nearing 30). I guess we weren't dressed well enough to be trusted on the day of our visit, as we were followed around by the shop's attendant as if we were two high schoolers looking to steal something.We both purchased the items we were intending to, but both of us picked up on some really uncomfortable behavior from the shop's attendant. Anytime we would look at an item, the woman would follow us and "fix" the items behind us. She followed us closely throughout the visit. She also wouldn't let us hold the items we were intending to buy. She insisted on "holding that up at the counter" multiple times, and not in a polite and hospitable way; but in a very stern and uncomfortable tone. She was insistent on us not having anything in our hands.My friend and I both made purchases during our visit, and obviously did not steal anything, but goodness, I haven't been treated like that since I was a high school student. Really disappointing. I loved the store, but I can't really see myself returning due to the woman's behavior.Please be sure not to wear casual attire to this shop; they'll assume you're too young or too poor to be trusted as a customer. If anything, I guess it became a notable experience for both of us to laugh at later. I'm sorry to have visited.

This is a cute and quality store in the small heart of Beaufort, NC. There was some linen, as the namesake implies, as well as home decor, some very pretty jewelry, stationary, candles, etc. There is a mix of small gifts and home goods inside and I was promptly greeted by a friendly lady who offered any help should I have questions while I browsed. It's a small store with a limited selection - but beautiful, high quality items in you need a gift or something to finish off your home.

It is absolutely my favorite shop in Beaufort. Now living in CH, I make a point to visit every time I'm home. Decided to go there first for holiday presents, and I ordered on a Saturday, and it was at my house in CH on Monday. Christina has put together a beautifully curated shop that you can find a gift for just about anyone.

I brought my mother in today as a first stop while showing her around our sweet little town. My teenage daughter accompanied us and found some ponytail holders she wanted. She tells me that her friends at school have them and they don’t pull hair and asked me (quietly) if I would buy her some. I tell her to pick the ones she wants and she hands them to me. We started to walk away to continue looking around when the salesperson offers to hold them at the register for us.

Oh, I just LOVE Beaufort Linen Co.! So many beautiful things in this store. Clothing, jewelery, pajamas, and home decor. The store smells clean, and fresh, and delicious! I bought my new favorite shirt there, by a brand called "Vintage Havanna." There are many fun items in the store, like a pillow that says "Weekend Warrior." If I'm in Beaufort, I always stop in Beaufort Linen Co. Great store to buy something for yourself, or buy someone a gift. A must visit!
