One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. First thing you’ll notice is the perfect location downtown, and its nice exterior. The receptionist was super nice, and upon getting in our room, we felt way more comfortable than in any chain hotel we normally stay at.We had great complimentary breakfast, and a great balcony to have our coffee. It felt like my wife and I were celebrating an anniversary! We will be sure to come again.

This was a pleasant stay. The room was spacious with a window seat overlooking the water. The bathroom was very old with scratches around the tub shower combo. The sink was outside of the bathroom and made for midgets! Service was great with a friendly staff! There is a third floor lounge which was lovely.Maxine Quinlan

This is a lovely inn, and the location is perfect, overlooking the water! We had a window seat room, which was extremely comfortable, as were the beds. We were able to watch fireworks from the Seafood Festival right from our window seat! The room was, well, roomy! We ordered up a fresh continental breakfast each morning, and the coffee was piping hot, and the pastries fresh. I especially loved the 'widow's walk' one floor up, where we could sit outside and enjoy the lovely weather and the goings on along Front Street. The Inn is walking distance from everything located in downtown, which is a plus, and we found some wonderful restaurants, historical buildings and museums. It appears the Inn is being slowly updated , and our only comment is the bathrooms need deep cleaning. They weren't bad, but the tile on the floor had heavy dirt in the grout lines, and there was evidence of mold in the shower. I would recommend remodeling the bathrooms one at a time, and in the meantime get someone into the bathrooms to deep steam clean the grout in the shower and on the floors. Would I stay here again? Yes, I would.

The Inlet Inn was very nice. We stayed 3 days and had a restful stay. The Inn sits directly across from the marina where several boats and yachts were docked. Only the road is between the Inn and the marina. We chose the 2nd floor for the best view. I don't know how the 1st floor would be since there is a lot of shubry in front so I'd ask them about the view from there. The town is slow and sleepy but there are quite a few small shops and several good restaurants. We went at the end of October so it's not the busiest time of the year. I have no idea what summer might be like. Morehead City and Carolina Beach are close by. We chose this location completely for a lazy relaxing anniversary. The town is pleasant to walk around and shop and eat. The Inn has 2 Tesla Destination Charges which are free to charge. (Not the Tesla Superchargers). If you have an adapter to convert from Tesla to your vehicle you can charge too. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Our October stay was peaceful and relaxing.Rooms: Clean and taken care of.Walkability: Nice area to walk around.

Wonderful hospitality and staff. Older building that's been upgraded and well maintained. Very comfortable furnishings. Great waterfront views from most of the rooms. Short walk to lots of great things to see and do in Beaufort.

We are a retired couple. Stayed 2 nights in early October in the Inn. We were told by locals that it was recently remodeled. We stayed in room 313. Loved the large room and tall ceilings. The facility is clean, attractive and our room was very quiet. My husband who is an early riser, enjoyed sitting on the balcony reading each morning and listening to the birds sing in a wood rocker. We also enjoyed using the 3rd floor lounge, but unfortunately it doesn't open until 7:30 am. It would be nice to have it open earlier, when the front desk person arrives. On cooler days people want to be indoors. My husband wakes before me, so he likes to leave the room while I am still sleeping. The room has wood vinyl floors. The beds were comfortable and had nice linens. The wood chairs are too hard and need cushions or should be replaced with more comfortable chairs. We missed not having a lounge chair in the room. The bay window was ideal for placing out suitcases, but not comfortable for sitting and reading due to the steps and depth. The shower is a combination tub shower. We noticed that the majority of guests this time of year are seniors. A vertical grab bar needs to be installed on the wall by the tub for safety when people are climbing into the tub to shower. Very nice plush linens! We own an electric vehicle and were pleased there are two chargers in parking lot. (This trip we flew, and rented a car, so we did not use the chargers.) The Inn is ideally located with walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc.Complimentary breakfast is coffee, orange juice and fresh muffins or toasted bagels. One day we had a very tiny 4 Oz yogurt. The second day they had a small microwave packet of oatmeal. The rooms have a table and refrigerator, but no microwave. A microwave is available in the 3rd floor lounge.
