Walked the trail with my husband. It was well laid out. Easy for us. Very nice recreation park.

We wanted to explore what beech mountain has to offer besides the resrort... Loved the facility & helpful staff. Enjoyed playing pickle ball indoors. Bathrooms are very clean. Nice playground & tennis courts outside. Beautiful views. Loved the waterfall & hiking trail.

We can’t get enough of this place!! Friendly staff, unique playground, pickle ball and tennis courts, maintained trails, kayaks and canoes, great fishing spots, & indoor equipment and gym space. Financially accessible to all. I hate to share our secret spot! We would love to see more places emulate this one!!
The Buckeye Recreation Center is a 22,500-square-foot facility offering recreational opportunities like indoor basketball, volleyball, and tennis; a fitness room; a conference room with catering area, and a playroom built specifically for children under 7.
