We just got back from snowboarding at Beech Mountain Resort and we had a great time. We could see the slopes right from our condo's balcony. The condo was a Bear theme, and it was very cute. The only issue we had was during our arrival after dark to the Pinnacle Inn Resort. After we turned off the road to the resort we hit a huge pothole that was across the whole street, and it popped our back tire. We ended up spending additional money on a new tire. :( Please be careful! HOA should have this fixed.

Such a lovely resort! The best part is all the wildlife that just comes around! There was a groundhog that was always by our door and deer right under our patio. The only thing was it was hard to find which condo was ours wish it was more labeled and was easier to find the rooms.

Checked into Frolic in the Woods #1301 for a couples getaway. This resort is the kind of place that is just simply good for your soul. We enjoyed the clean bungalow with a lofted mattress and nice window seat to people watch. The atrium with the heated indoor pool and sauna was amazing. They have a game room targeted more towards kids but a side area with pool table and air hockey for adults. The spiral staircase at the pool leads to a mini workout area and table top paddle ball. Vending snacks and drinks are readily available inside. The view of Beech Mountain ski resort was incredible and we saw lots of wildlife…even walked right up on a silver skunk by accident and no it didn’t spray me. Deer are abundant and the height of the third floor unit allowed us to literally breath in the clouds. Thank you Pinnacle Inn for the setup you have here. Quiet and away from the world.

My hun and I really enjoyed ourselves except that it rained Friday night into the weekend and the time we left. I really hope to come back on better circumstances.Rooms: The rooms are very nice, clean and comfortable for a couple who want to be alone together, enjoy the scenery and make memories together.

We rented for 6 nights and 7 days..3rd level..it was a gorgeous place we had We watched the Sun come up in the mornings and watched it go down in the evenings..We went to watch it SNOW and we were Blessed to see it unfold in our eyes..I highly recommend Condo 4301.. but please consider you hafta go up to the 3rd level, there is NO elevator and you have 39 steps to climb..It was well worth it to us ..Electric fireplace and free Wi-Fi and wall heat units that will knock your socks off ( jus kidding) full bed on leather couch ( which we didn't use) I jus put my quilt down on it..lol..and a full or queen bed which my classmate used, you can see the slopes through the window or the inside pool ( building, it was right beside our condo) Laundry room right beside the Pool building) it has a game room inside the pool area and a drink machine and snack machine also in the pool area..this place is within walking distance to the slopes, The Brick Oven for pizza's or to The Wolf Lodge restaurant and to Fred's Mercantile Store where you will find like a small grocery shopping and souvenirs and clothing as well..they serve breakfast, lunch, and whatever you want to eat..But if you want really good smoked pork, beef, and country home cooking I recommend Holy Smokes ( the Wolf Lodge) is the place..Enjoy your stay, I surely did on Beech Mountain N.C . I was truly satisfied ❤️❤️ Our Condo sleeps 3 comfortably..it already has a mixer, pots and pans with utensils, Mr. Coffee, microwave you name it, it's in that room..Very Very Clean..

We stayed in a nice condo with a view of Beech Mountain and surrounding mountains. The gate entrance/exit and outdoor activities look a little dated, but all in all, it was nice.Nearby activities: Skiing, sledding, snow tubing, hiking, trails and so much more.Food & drinks: Several places to eat on the mountain and just down the mountain in Banner Elk
