Great place stopped in out of curiosity and I'm glad I did. Very nice people who even helped me shop when I asked. Must be family owned they had a nice, quiet game of cards or something going when I came in. I will be back as much as possible when passing thru again.

I normally go to a different Asian market, but this market has better hours. They have a lot of the typical noodles, spring roll wrappers, sauce bottles and canned goods you look for. They also have produce and refrigerated sections, but not much is labeled in english so it was hard for me to tell what was what. I got a few of the interesting looking drinks. Like all asian markets I have been to, be sure to check expiration dates before buying. It's not well lit at night, but they were open when I went at 8 something. Parking isn't super obvious, but it's a small store.

Not normally in the Belmont are and I was looking for a close Asian mart and this place popped up. Listen - the photos of the food is what drove me to come here. But there is no prepared food here. The place is small and tiny. So the selection isn't vast but they do have the staples required in many Asian homes. I was impressed with the variety of lao items here. We purchased some laotion sausage and while overpriced it was definitely delicious. Since living in Charlotte, I have learned to always check the expiration date on items. Not that something slightly out of date will scare me but sometimes you see things that are expired from a year or two ago. So really, I would give this place a three but due to do the deception of thinking I could get hot prepared food - I have to bump it to a two.

My husband and I visited this Asian market this afternoon, however we ended up leaving with only one item because expiration date were years old. One can of sweet red beans we found had an expiration date of 2011. Cans are covered in dust and shelves are filthy and disorganized. This place needs a good scrub down and some TLC.

Best Asian food market in the area. If you love Laotian or Thai food, this is the best place to buy your specialty foods and supplies.
