I've been with First Gaston/Community one/First Tennessee Bank/First Horizon since I was 18. Its a bank with a small town feel, they remember your name, they treat you like a person, unlike the big banks that treat you like a number. Although the face of the bank has changed over the years, the feel hasn't and thats why I have stayed with them.

This bank has a mission but I have no clue what it is. They are friendly but I would rather talk about what they did to my checking account. Basically, they took it over. They have made quite a lot of money from me in fees and charges. On top of that they have inconvenient hours for me. I'm leaving this bank and their way of doing things with MY money! I would give their friendliness on a scale of 1-10, an 8, their service a 2, their fees are frequent, $37.00 for overdrafts, and at best, their mission is ambiguously represented. Whatever it is, besides making money, is lost in their stiff way of steering my checking account. Overall rating is 3.

I have to find 7 months of deposits to an account that was closed by the bank and then another card was just written off without informing me. My monthly deposits went SOMEWHERE. Meanwhile, withdrawals were made. I have to track that down, but it may be fraud. Also, I can't reach by telephone. I get the greeting and then just hung up on. More than once this happened.

Bank manager was totally abrupt and impolite to me on January 28, 2021. I entered the branch while donning my mask. NO delay in that.Without any greeting whatsoever, she made it a point to approach me to tell me to have it on before entering. 'Quite abrupt.'Good service by previous managers and employees until that point. It only took one occasion, but that was enough. I have drawn my account down from $50,000 to $1000.00. Well done.

Honestly. The worst experience. This bank in general truly is the worst. I am so upset that I ever got transferred to this bank. But this branch takes the cake. 30 MINS to do a withdrawal, I am not complaining because I had to wait in line. There was never a line, the ladies could literally care less about the service provided.

Diana Blair and I are members of the Belmont BNI Group. She is an impressive business woman, and clearly offers a level of personal service that is above anything found at a traditional bank.
