Beautiful hotel with a nice breakfast. Check in could be improved and staff attitude. Wonderful access to stores and shopping. Dog's are welcome.

The location is the best part of the hotel. The staff was abrupt and made me feel like I was an inconvenience. The personality and security vibe was similar to going to a government building but without the metal detectors. I booked here to have a noon check out because I work late nights. Housekeeping was trying to access my room before 9 am. I was also hoping for a safe and comfortable space. The maintenance is lacking in completion. For example patches unpainted of if it is painted it doesn't match, broken shower shelf and moldy grout, rusty carpet, etc. I was also unnerved by the random attempted access to my room around 5 am. I should have booked the days inn just a block or so away for half the price and it wouldn't have disappointed as much as here. I ended up leaving and sleeping in my car in a parking lot before going back to work and it was quieter. I expect more when im paying 150$ for a room.

Issue: Very Poor Service during our 1 night stay at 100 WATER PLACE LANDING, BENSON, NC 27504
We were serviced by the Swing Shift Jessica for our Check-In on 8/26. During the entire evening and late night, there were no hot water or coffee available. I spoke with Jessica stating that we will be leaving early morning on 8/27/25 at 4am and wanted to find out if Coffee and Brown Bags to go will be available, Jessica assured us that those amenities will be available. At 3:30am of 8/27, Crystal an older white lady was on shift and she told us that No Coffee and Brown bags to go will be available for my family. We have been Hilton Honor Member for over 20 years. We are very sad, frustrated and disappointed at the overall service we received from this hotel. We will look elsewhere to stay at Benson, NC.

Only things good I can say about this hotel is that is convenient off I-95 for overnight stays, all hotel employees were super nice, friendly, and personable with us during our stay, and the breakfast was good. The hotel itself, being only 7-8 years old at this point, was disappointing in its overall cleanliness, bad smells, and damage to walls/furniture, rooms, etc. There literally were giant holes in the wall that were just sloppy patched up with spackle and clearly visible. Things on walls, etc. that are falling apart. Nothing you would expect from a hotel this young in it's life. Also, I understand wanting to be pet friendly and nearly all the main chain hotels are doing that now, but you then need to have rooms that are specifically only for individuals who are allergic to pets, like myself and my family are. We are allergic to dog and cat hair and cannot have it around. You want to welcome pets, fine, but then you need to do a much more stringent cleaning regime to get the pet hair off of floors, furniture, etc. The bell carts even had pet hair on them. We used to exclusively stay at Hampton Inn's because they were always a sure bet to be clean, safe, affordable, and put together well. This is the second one now where cleanliness and quality of the hotel were severely lacking. We are rethinking our position on staying at Hampton Inns further.

So clean!! Customer service was outstanding. You are greeted by every staff member you see. Breakfast was amazing. Great selection, something for everyone. Beds are comfy and just smell clean. I wish every hotel was like this one!!!

My family and I were on our way to South Carolina from New Jersey so this was a perfect stopping point to break up our drive and get some rest. My favorite thing about this hotel is that it’s pet friendly, despite us not having pets with us, but it was great to see that this hotel goes above and beyond to care for their furry visitors. I also greatly appreciated the free food in the lobby when we entered, which is pictured here. It was a bowl of really tasty gumbo and they had some grape drink as well, it was just perfect after a long drive to not have to think about where we could get something to fill our bellies. Hotel was clean. The staff was friendly the morning breakfasts were offered with good variety and on time.

We stopped by here to charge our car and to take a rest room break with our children. The lobby and entrance are very welcoming and the staff are so, so nice. Would stay here if needed in the future.

This is the second time we stayed at this hotel. Our first time was wonderful but the room we were given was very dirty. The rug was sticky and smelly and the pillows smelled dirty. It is a shame because the staff is so friendly and I hate to leave bad reviews. But the smell in the room because of the dirty rug was unbearable unfortunately. I guess it’s the last time we will stay there.

My go-to place when I'm looking to stay overnight somewhere. Hampton inn can't beat it. Very, very good people. Pet friendly can't say enough good things about them
