The pharmacist was very knowledgeable, friendly, and so very helpful. We went in to help a friend who was having severe leg cramps and got everything we needed to help our friend. Thank you home town pharmacy.

Visiting in Montreat and forgot to bring some of my OTC meds. I was told to check out this store and they were fabulous. The staff woman spent about 10 minutes answering my questions. She was incredibly well informed, friendly, supportive and helpful. Definitely my “go-to” shop should I ever have the chance to return. I only wish we had a pharmacy (and staff like her) in my town.

From the very first day I walked into this pharmacy (as a recent transplant to Black Mountain), Amanda and her staff have treated me with kindness, respect, and superior knowledge of all my prescription and general health needs. Amanda and Chris and their top-notch staff are the best!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS. PHARMACY. IT IS ILL NAMED SUNSHINE. There is no ray of light here. Today was the final straw. My husband went in to pick up this compound prescription and was greeted by the pharmacist and staff who were ALL NOT wearing masks. YES! A pharmacy with NO masks. The pharmacist Amanda Nichols was extremely rude and defensive when asked why she and her staff were not wearing masks. She then dismissed my husband saying“You can leave now! You have no further business here,” and thrust the prescription at my husband. When he countered asking why she was being so dismissive, the business manager came around and threatened to call “someone” because my husband a 74 year old man in poor health was questioning as to why no one was wearing a mask. The pharmacy looks like it’s from the 60’s but there is no politeness here or friendliness or Southern hospitality. DO NOT waste your time. Instead I recommend Health Ridge nearby where they understand courteous health care.

Called for my first time this pharmacy today. The female pharmacist treated me like I was going to spend a lot of money or quote " I need to prioritize my money and my health". Really? That is why I called your service to put my health concerns & questions at the forefront of my life. Basically don't call for advise here...I was contemplating switching pharmacy's but not to this place. Seems they aren't concerned with the patient as much as their money.

They have been excellent in helping us with our prescriptions, keeping us up to date, offering discounts if available, giving us shots, offering consultations, and so much more. We appreciate their sincere interest in our health, and willingness to spend time to assure us that we are making wise decisions.

All of sunshine staff have done nothing but helped and showed love to my family. They have helped me and my 15 yr old daughter thru the transition of the life changing event of being a type 1 diabetic! They have been there for my family during business hrs and even after business hrs. I trust sunshine pharmacy with my families lives I feel my family is there number one concern. Thanks for all you do !!

Don't hand out candy to 3rd graders in PILL BOTTLES. The level of ignorance is baffling.

they thought it was a good idea to give candy in pill bottles to small children, teaching them to open child proof caps and puts in their minds pills are candy. worst.
