We came in on on Saturday looking fotr a chaise/sofa and received excellent customer service. Found what we wanted, got to sit on a sample they had. Ordered and was delivered in just a few weeks. After a while, we noticed that the chaise was coming disconnected from the sofa. Tried everything. Called Tyson's, they ordered a new kit from Basset and are coming next week to fix it! The really expansive inventory helps in actually seeing and trying what you want!

We had a great experience with several purchases from Tyson, including expert sales assistance from Morgan who helped us select pieces that are beautiful, functional and priced right. The warehouse and delivery teams have been courteous and prompt. Wonderful selection of products and outstanding personnel!

People from underrepresented ethnic and racial groups tend to rate poor customer service less negatively than white people do, according to peer review research however, people of color get so used to discrimination in stores they don’t always notice bad customer service.My sisters and I had the most unpleasant experience at Tyson Furniture in Black Mountain. One of my sisters just moved from Texas and needs to furnish her entire home. I, thinking highly of what I have heard about Tyson's wanted to take her there first thinking it would be a one stop shop for her entire home.As we walked in, I held the door open for my sisters and my niece. Immediately behind us was another couple and I held the door open for them. Two employees jumped up from behind the counter and ran straight for the couple behind us to help them. I head them say, "hello, welcome to Tyson's have you been here before?". We waited patiently for the same greeting.We waited almost 40 minutes near the front in hopes that someone, anyone, would assist us. We walked around looking at furniture thinking that surely one of the 8 associates behind the counter would look up long enough from their not so busy day to at least make eye contact??!!It was a foregone conclusion that Mr. Tyson has an office culture abhorrent to any type of exceptional customer service found elsewhere. The fact that we may be darker than the white couple that came in after us was blatantly obvious. Their behavior was beyond rude. No need to dig deep to find what matters most to them!As an established woman of color, yes, olive is a color…I not only find their behavior disgusting, but it tells me/us that it is their standard operating procedure for their day-to-day interactions with people…. which makes this organization one of the worst places I have ever been. I will scream from the rooftops my negative experience in hopes of saving anyone else from such poor manners and humiliation!Mr. Tyson, you ought to be incredibly ashamed of your culture especially in today's climate. I understand the world is complicated but good customer service is not!

Our experience here was negative. They told over the phone that they had a particular mattress on display there, but when we drove out there, we found out they had mislead us. Our sales person was new and she was no help whatsoever with any of our questions. I think we've spent all that we're going to spend here at Tyson's Furniture.

Tracey Griffith was a wonderful sales person. Forget Lazy Boy and even Havertys. I've had experience with all 3. Tysons beats them both hands down. Friendly,without being pushy. They don't charge for delivery, I live in Candler. ( may be different due to distance) Quality furniture and great prices comparable if not better than the other 2.

Poor quality furniture. The dye (?) On my 2k+ couch somehow bled into the surrounding fabric, it looks awful after less than a week and tyson refuses to repair or stand by their product. Awful craftsmanship, overpriced and not guaranteed. I do NOT recommend, avoid at all costs!!

My father-in-law recently bought a mattress set and had it delivered. I might add, he bought his previous mattress and Jordon Brown outdoor furniture at Tyson's also. After trying to sleep on the mattress for a couple of nights he realized it was too soft for his comfort. I called and explained the situation and offered to buy a mattress cover (to insure the mattress stayed clean during transport)and return the mattress for EXCHANGE. FOR EXCHANGE. I was told that the mattress did not have a "comfort guarantee" and Mr. Tyson said it couldn't be returned FOR EXCHANGE. I was shocked by their inflexibility as most stores offer a period of time for return. The salesperson offered her sorrow at his displeasure and our misfortune. BEWARE! TYSON'S IS NOT CONSUMER FRIENDLY.

I was shocked that they were so inflexible. The salesperson said she understood when I told her that most stores offer a period of time for return and she was sorry for his displeasure. BEWARE! We walked in between two sets of older people and while the staff jumped to help them we were ignored. Bummer because we have heard good things about this place and we've got a brand new home to furnish. I can only assume it was because we are in our 30s and not our 60s.
