We visited during Thanksgiving Family camp which was for 3 days. Such an amazing place, staff and ambience. The quality of the food was good. The menu included ample vegetarian options which we were relieved of. The family mini activities they organized were fun.

I have been coming to Blue Ridge since I was 1 years old. The Churches of Christ use to have an annual week long family camp that my family attended intill it ended around 2013. I've been coming back with my family since. The property is well maintained and even though many staff members have come and gone in the 38 years I visited, they have all been kind. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5 is that Lee Hall was renamed several years ago and he name was removed. Having family that fought on both sides during the War Between the States I find it wrong to change the names of places because the person that it was named after served the Confederacy.I will keep the 4 start rating till Lee Hall regains its rightful name and his portrait and President's Lincoln's portrait are put back up.

This is a very nice place to come on a retreat. The area is full of amazing views. There are lots of hiking trails, a tennis court, and a playground for kids. The food was very good, and the service was excellent. The rooms have not been remodeled in some time, and the mattress was worn, otherwise it would have been 5 stars.

The rooms in Eureka hall were horrible. The bathroom was moldy and there were holes in the walls. The towels and sheets had hairs and stains on them. Not to mention the food, it was horrible. I liked the Starbucks in the lobby though. I have to say that the activities that were not here were the highlight of the trip.

This place is nice for the views and the activities are ok, but the rooms in Eureka Hall were so terrible. The mattresses were uncomfortable and dirty. The mattresses in my room had hairs and stains on them. The sheets, towels, and blankets also provided were disgusting and had stains all over. The room that I stayed in had black mold all over the bathroom, the window was shattered, and the toilet was broken and cracked. Most of the staff was pretty good but some were pretty bad. The food tasted awful and the chicken they had for dinner looked like it still had a pulse. Every meal served was just disgusting. 1/10 terrible place to stay

Blue Ridge Assembly is a well equipped campus for a small to mid-sized retreat. Upto 400 people. Good variety of accommodations, and excellent meeting rooms. Friendly, helpful staff! Safe and clean. Some mild technology limitations. Be sure to make no assumptions depending on your production needs. Food is a solid 6-7 out of 10. Nothing spectacular, but tasty and filling. Portion sizes are great.Surroundings are wooded. Buildings are beautiful and historic. Cost is very reasonable.

I was greatly touched when I asked where I could purchase some toothpaste. and that the staff so graciously gave me a tube of for free, and were so courteous throughout that interaction. This organization provides a scholarship for students who would otherwise have little access to a retreat weekend and to experience some intentional time to focus on the love from God.

Honestly, probably the worst place I've ever stayed at. I can't make any judgements on the rooms in other buildings or cabins, but the rooms in Eureka Hall were disgusting. The sheets and pillows were dirty, there was a hole in our wall, there were rat droppings on the bed, etc. Others in my group said their pillows were moldy, they saw rats, there were bugs in their beds, and one guys bed was wet and another's had what appeared to be blood on it. (You might have noticed there are no pictures of the bedrooms in Eureka Hall on their website.) For the most part the staff were polite and helpful. The food wasn't the best, but it wasn't that bad either. And the view of the mountains was very nice. I can't make any comments on their facilites (i.e. gym, basketball court, etc.) as I did not use them. If you do decide to stay here though, please don't stay in Eureka Hall.

This is a great place in terms of view and location. But if you want to stay for a night, the rooms are too old and the mattresses are so uncomfortable. The staff are so nice but the food is so awful. Don't matter what you get, they are all so bad. Their chef just waste the ingredients.

Beautiful setting. Food was good, probably gained a couple of pounds. Visited a room where a friend was staying and it was good with a pleasant nature view.
