Room was nice. Resort was beautiful. They were 45 minutes late seating us. We had a reservation but still didn’t get seated until 45 minutes late. Dinner was average. We ordered breakfast to our room both mornings ands both mornings the order was totally incorrect!

Rooms are nicely appointed. Daily room service was sub par. Most days coffee and tea would not be replenished . Restaurant was inviting but food was average. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Grounds were beautiful. Pool area was nice as well as the childrens craft room.

It’s a nice rustic inn with good walking trails around the pond with swans. The restaurant was good but pricey. We had a great table by the fireplace overlooking the property which was very nice both nights we went to dinner. There were fire pits around the property and that was nice to sit by and hang out. The room was okay, there were soap stains on shower floor and stains on the blanket and the rooms looked older than the pictures displayed online. Very hard to reach the hotel to ask any questions on reservations.

Our unit was clean and had everything we needed. Check-in was smooth and quick and we were able to enjoy the facilities all weekend with no issue. There are many places to take walks and enjoy the fall colors and the location was great - quick trip to downtown and close to Boone. We really appreciated being able to play pickleball and also swim in the indoor pool. Did not use the spa this time, but it is always a great experience. Workout room was simple but had everything you would need. Of Note: They added an almost $100 EXTRA FEE FOR BLUE RIDGE PARKWAY FUND which was totally unexpected. Our bill was a couple hundred more than we expected and we could do nothing about it. Ask ahead for ALL charges, including this new "donation" fee. Dinner was awful. Food was terrible. Breakfast may be better, but don't spend your money on dinner.

The kitchen has what you need if you want to cook. We got wood for the fireplace but there were no matches or fire starters. There was inadequate toilet paper and paper towels. Views are very nice- pretty fall colors. Restaurant is very nice with great servers and food was delicious.

Way over priced. Terrible service in the Pub as if they were understaffed. Food prices very high with small portions. You pay a fee to rent things then they tack a 20 dollar "resort fee" charge on your bill for the privilege of renting things. Incredible. A real tourist trap rip off. But a very pretty area. Just stay somewhere else.

This is a wonderful resort that has something for everyone. A beautiful setting adjacent to Moses Cone Park and close proximity to many outdoor adventures. It's a short walk into Blowing Rock offering excellent restaurants and unique shops.

The day of the event I was emailed that the hotel over booked and changed my room. I was given a 10$ discount for my inconvenience. The room was by the hallway door so I was able to enjoy the banging of the fire door closing throughout the night.

This was our first time staying at Chetola and it was lovely! The grounds are beautiful and walkable to downtown Blowing Rock. We stayed in the inn and would recommend for a more quaint feel. The daily wine and cheese hour and cookies each night were a special treat. We will be back!

Chetola’s grounds are beautiful and well maintained, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. However, our bed was saggy and some of the furnishings in the room seemed to have some age on them. I wish we had been able to take advantage of the boating and fishing in the lake.

We always hear how great it is to go & stay at Chetola so we went to their spa as a girls day...the spa ladies & men were 10 out of 10(they were great) but...for the growing popularity of the area & ultimately the spa...the spa is long...like long overdue for an overhaul...3 of us girls were sandwiched into the spa men's bathroom ...again, if you are going for a massage or hair cut & kinda only expect that...the employees were helpful, kind & great massage service...and we made the most of the few older spa offerings (hot-tub & sauna) but a redo/improvements to today's standard of what a spa is; is definitely needed.

Not my first time to have a massage at a spa, my husband and I had reservations for a couples massage. The spa is a beautiful space, with a relaxing and quiet environment. We arrived on time, and had to wait for customers ahead of us in line to check in, and then we’re rushed to fill out a registration form, and to get changed. On the registration form, I specified that I preferred a medium pressure massage, and for me I reminded the masseuse that I had also paid the extra fee for deep tissue massage. This was by far my worst experience with a massage, zero deep tissue massage was provided. The rest of the massage was very light pressure. My review has 2 stars because my husband did have a good experience with his massage. I cannot recommend having a massage at the Chetola Spa.

Beautiful spa tucked away inside a beautiful resort! We started with tea and relaxation and then I had possibly the best massage I have ever had (and I have had lots of massages! ) Tracy had magic hands and melted away all my stress. After the massage, we all relaxed with more tea in a quiet room. Lovely morning!

My wife had a Cranio sacral treatment and definitely enjoyed it. Not a massage, more of a light hand touching in trigger points.

Amazing massage! I believe my masseuse was Helen... I hope I got her name right. :) She was incredible! I requested a Swedish massage-very reasonably priced. It was beyond relaxing, just the right amount of pressure, tranquil environment/ambiance...the sixty minutes flew by! I wish I lived closer, I would see Helen regularly. Helen is a must! :)
