We stopped here when App state was having graduation. Very busy. As we had the chihuahua along, we sat outside. The wait wasn’t too bad. Expect pub grub here. Nothing fancy. The pork sandwich was very good. The service was slow. We won’t be back.

If you are looking for a restaurant that serves good tasty food at a reasonable price and comfortable portion, then this is it. This place has the best fish sandwich I ever had. Although the fish sandwich s fried but it is the kind of fry that health conscious patrons need not worry about. The fish is usually moist. The crab cake is larger than I ever had for the price. My wife loves their chili dogs and the turkey burger.

Great food and great service. This was our first time in Blowing Rock, and the first restaurant we went to. It was busy, but the food came out quick. I was honestly surprised at how great the Cuban sandwich was. Our waitress, Savannah, was super friendly and gave helpful recommendations on the menu. I highly recommend!

We visit here about once/month. Food is always consistently good. My husband hasn’t tried any of the burgers yet- so he usually gets the meatball sub. Comes with choice of sides.Vegetarian options- they do have a veggie wrap that comes with side for around $8.00, a Black bean Burger w/ sides for around $10, Nachos with cheese, jalapeños, sour cream, salsa, etc. that’s around $11. Very filling.Tonight I got the Town Tavern salad. Very impressed with the size of it, for $10. Very good ranch dressing too!

We always eat here in town, actually ate here twice this past trip. The bison burger and bison chili are the best I have ever had.

One of our favorite places in Blowing Rock! There is a lot of variety on the menu, everything we've ever ordered was wonderful, and it's a great atmosphere. I always recommend it to anyone that is visiting BR!

We were driving through town looking at Christmas lights and saw the fire pit on the patio and stopped. It was perfect to grab a drink and enjoy the fire while spending time with family. The margarita was good and they seemed to have a good selection of beer and wine. The ambiance on the patio was what stood out to me. It was a chilly night, so our family had the fire pit to ourselves. It was a wonderful way to end our trip the Blowing Rock area.

Excellent night out! Enjoy some beer and bar food under the stars on their huge patio or inside of their loud, character filled dining rooms. This place is a ton of fun and somewhere we'll always visit when we stay in Blowing Rock for the leaves turning each year. Only knock is they do tend to run out of beers pretty consistently + bathrooms are a tight fit and get busy BUT we'll be back every single chance we get, so not nearly enough to keep anyone away!!

Service was a challenge and the food was terrible. Both my husband and I were sick the entire night.

We were visiting the beautiful mountain town of Blowing Rock. The weather was cold, foggy, and drizzling rain but it didn’t stop us from enjoying our visit. We decided to have lunch at the Town Tavern and that was a great choice. We both had the Tavern Salad which was a generous portion of mixed greens, veggies, carrots, cabbage, tomatoes, onions and smoked bacon bits. It was very good and the atmosphere was nice as they had a fire in the fireplace which was nice on such a cold rainy day.

We frequent this place quite a bit, it's our usual stop when hanging in blowing rock. If there is a game We want tk watch we put our name On the list and head to the playground with the kids. Food has always been solid and of Course cold beer. Lots of TVs, great atmosphere.

Where do I begin? Oh, I know! Red, white, and blue! Red: This restaurant was full of loud, drunk, RED necks White: You will feel pale when you almost break a tooth on reheated- overcooked mozzerella sticks, bite into undercooked greasy onion rings, and you are served a hamburger that is also pale white. Overall, every bite of the food we ordered was horrible and greasy. We ate very little and could not get out of the "atmosphere" fast enough. SCARY! Blue: So sad that we tried this place. We live locally and felt that we should try restaurants that friends from out of town might ask about. Also sad to have spent $40+ and leave most of our food uneaten, our ear drums ringing, and a nightmare memory of middle aged, uneducated people trying to relive their high school years. There is a lot of hype about of this restaurant. Yes, I may be a snob, but seriously, the place is not for dining; it is for eating enough grease to absorb the alcohol one drinks.
