“This is a very well stocked store right near the college. The shop was clean and well lit for the most part but there were a few darker isles. All and all, it was another good visit to one of the many dollar generals. It would near top of the list for me.”

“Another failed attempt to get my favorite pork skins! This is strike three and I guess I'm out! Out of luck that is! On the other hand ; compared to the Family Dollar Store in Gaffney, S.C. ( with the exception of frozen food) I felt like I was in shoppers heaven! Finally; a good selection in a chain store! As noted above; I didn't get what I was in search of but I immersed myself in the abundance of the rest of this place!I greatly enjoyed my visit here and I will drive the ten miles out of my way to shop this Family Dollar store!”

“Good dollar general for the most part but there is a newer one just a few miles away next to the kangaroo gas station that is definitely the best one I've been to in a long time. The staff are actually helpful although they don't get paid hardly anything which is sad knowing how much money DG brings in. Most dollar generals seem to have issues with stocking, but I know that is mostly due to the fact that they only put 2 people working at any given time. I think they spend to much time setting up new Planograms and with only 2 people working they either never get finished or by the time they do get it finished, it's time to redo it again. Which usually means the boxes of merch are out on the floor all day. This is how almost every dollar general is though. I do love how they always have different decorations and things like that but they need to figure out some ways to fix that. Preferably hire a few more employees, that would also reduce theft which is an obvious issue. Or even just slow down a little on changing everything so often. Just my opinion though.”

“It was fine. They were out of the medication I needed, but I understand that happens. The only thing I absolutely cannot stand about this Dollar General is the fact there is no cell phone service in the store, it's ridiculous.”

“I love my new local Dollar General! Ann and all the staff there are very friendly and helpful! Thankfully, it's not that far away. Right off Hwy 74 @ Plato Lee Rd. Shelves are normally stocked well, considering the pandemic has backed up everything! Ann was kind enough to let Eli hang a picture he colored right there at the front counter!Highly recommended! Stop by and say hello to Ann!”

“This store is spot on it has everything from snacks ,drinks to toiletries to fans and outside chairs to gagets for your home and phone this store is in order very clean bathrooms parking lot is big and roomy I was able to find everything I was looking for and more i really love this store you can always make it a Quick trip if you need to .”

“I shopped at Dollar General on Polkville Road in Shelby yesterday and it was a great experience! Cornelius was very nice and welcoming when I came into the store and even asked if I needed want help. I also noticed how busy he stayed and worked hard. If we could have people like him working in places the world would be a little more pleasant! I just wanted to let this company know that they have a good one! Btw, the store looks great!”

“This is definitely the best Dollar Tree. They are fully stocked the associates are nice and it's very clean. I don't like going to the one in Spindale it's very unorganized there is boxes everywhere and it can sometimes be a very unfriendly shopping experience.”

“I honestly don't go to the Dollar general that much because I live near the Family Dollar. But when I do go they're always nice and stores always clean I just put four stars because it seems like I can't never find what I'm looking for and have to get help a lot. “FRIENDLY, very nice and helpful. ALWAYS helping me, I have Back issues and they always help load and carry out my things to car if I need. I'm sorry I can't remember the girls name that cashiered last Thursday, but she was greatI had about $250. Of items I purchased, she helped load the app for $ general between checking out my purchases, bagged light enough for me to carry at home, placed the items in another buggy for me and took the buggy to my car. James is always so helpful as well. He does the same for me. And returns the buggy for me. Couldn't ask for nicer people.”
