“This is a very well stocked store right near the college. The shop was clean and well lit for the most part but there were a few darker isles. All and all, it was another good visit to one of the many dollar generals. It would near top of the list for me.”
“The current manager is A GREAT Manager, very peaceful polite and understanding... She handled my situation in a professional manner... 10/10. It's one of the best FAMILY dollar store in Rutherfordton County.”
“This dollar general does better than all around used to I'd have to drive to 2 or 3 to get everything on my list not anymore I come straight to this one and only have one trip and the staff are so nice”

“This Dollar General has relocated across the highway. New building. Friendly associates. It is likely the cleanest and neatest Dollar General in the area. Thank you for helping make the shopping experience a pleasure.”
“Another failed attempt to get my favorite pork skins! This is strike three and I guess I'm out! Out of luck that is! On the other hand ; compared to the Family Dollar Store in Gaffney, S.C. ( with the exception of frozen food) I felt like I was in shoppers heaven! Finally; a good selection in a chain store! As noted above; I didn't get what I was in search of but I immersed myself in the abundance of the rest of this place!I greatly enjoyed my visit here and I will drive the ten miles out of my way to shop this Family Dollar store!”
“Great store that is well kept and most of the time these shelves are stocked full unless we have a bad winter storm coming in. The staff that work this Dollar General are always in a good mood and always willing to help when asked a question.”
“It's cheap and I get my household cleaning products there and also they always have a good selection of facial serums ! That really visibly reduce wrinkles and age lines! Don't buy the high priced ones anymore check out the Dollar tree! You won't be sorry !”
“This DG have some of the best staffs. I have never encounter a situation where they refuse to sell me items or get stuff down for me. Thanks so much for a great team at this location.”
“Lisa and her staff TRULY impressed me today. This was my first visit at this location. The store is SUPER organized and extremely clean! It was peaceful music playing to make my shopping experience pleasant! Her staff is top notch with genuine hellos ?? and have a great days from start to finish. I think I have found my favorite location. Dollar General.. you have a true gem in Lisa's leadership and it's shown just by the way she interacts with her guests and how she keeps her store clean and organized. I will visit this location again even though it's further for me, but the hospitality is so worth it! Thank you Lisa's and staff for making my New Years Day that much more pleasant!”
“One the nicer Dollar Generals. It was clean, well stocked and the clerks were actually helpful. What a pleasant surprise compared to most I've been in recently. I'll definitely be back.”
“The Cashier Paul Gosette was great & his Customer Service was Great as well he helped me with what I needed & cashed me out & got me out the door with a smile on his face & a smile on mines as ee9”
“I shopped at Dollar General on Polkville Road in Shelby yesterday and it was a great experience! Cornelius was very nice and welcoming when I came into the store and even asked if I needed want help. I also noticed how busy he stayed and worked hard. If we could have people like him working in places the world would be a little more pleasant! I just wanted to let this company know that they have a good one! Btw, the store looks great!”

“FRIENDLY, very nice and helpful. ALWAYS helping me, I have Back issues and they always help load and carry out my things to car if I need. I'm sorry I can't remember the girls name that cashiered last Thursday, but she was greatI had about $250. Of items I purchased, she helped load the app for $ general between checking out my purchases, bagged light enough for me to carry at home, placed the items in another buggy for me and took the buggy to my car. James is always so helpful as well. He does the same for me. And returns the buggy for me. Couldn't ask for nicer people.”
“Out of all the Dollar General stores around Shelby NC this is the cleanest stores and fully stock! Not boxes waiting to be unloaded or anything and there is more than one person working! When they’re stocking the shelves I also see them cleaning it before putting the stuff on the shelves!!! I actually can go in and enjoy to shop and not feel like imma catch some type of infection just from walking in.”
“The store manager was really nice. My daughter & I came in to look for one specific item. She help me looked but we weren’t able to find it. She told me the item I’m looking for is a seasonal stocking stuffers even though it looked like Valentines. So she sent me to another store that might have it. So glad she did. I was able to find so many other things.”
“I'm the assistant manager here. I love working at this location. My coworkers are the best. I highly recommend anyone to shop here. We are friendly and customer ready.”
“Uh...what can you say about DG? They are all the same. There's never a buggy and the aisles are filled with stock that needs to be put up. The guy working there is super nice.”
