This store has to be one of the most hazardous/unorganized places I’ve shopped.
Out of convenience, I chose this location because it’s right down the road from my house but I’m done doing that. Every isle is filled with things that need to be stocked so you can’t even ever get what you need, broken glass, expired food, etc.
On top of that, Im not exactly sure who pisses the old man and woman off everyday, but it’s uncalled for to act the way they do towards customers.
Please do better!

Stopped in today (noon on a thursday) and the lights were on but the doors were locked. I called the DG customer service line and was told that the registers opened on time so its weird the store was locked. They had a display of pool noodles outside free for the taking if you're that kind of person ?♀️
Not the first time I've seen a staffing issue here. They used to have a handwritten sign on the door saying their weird hours (M-F 10-3 or something like that). Living in Sunset Harbor, I was really hoping to avoid all the traffic and red lights that go along with finding a different dollar store, but I didn't have another option.

Pulled in because my calf muscles started to spax out. Went in to walk it off some but didn’t want to be rude and not purchase anything.
Well turns out that was a worry I didn’t need to have.
Staff there will indirectly start rushing you out by ensuring you can hear “45 mins left til they close “
That’s a 15 min left til closed holler. Not at a 45min
Remodel the store, fixed all that wiring
Spacious unlike before but don’t matter when the staff is that rude

Great staff and great management OTHER than the skinny black lady that works in the afternoon! Attitude is rude and disgusting and it really makes us midway residents not want to shop there.

This store has a new Store Manager. They have been open regular Hours and are working hard to regain the trust and respect of the community. I would know, I am the New Manager. I invite anyone to stop in anytime and speak with me personally. Your feedback is the only way we can get better as a staff, a store, and a company.

I just spent an hour trying to check out because both register were down. I tried, I gave up and after a solid hour, I put my items down and left to go to the grocery store. They couldn't even take cash. The clerks were very nice, they tried too. One would think with a DG on every street corner, they could get it right. Half of the time they can't get help, other half, they are closed. I feel as if DG the company doesn't care anyway.

Several of employees here seem to be great which is why I won't give it one star but kind of frustrating for the store to close earlier than their advertised. I guess it's a good thing that it wasn't like an emergency item that I needed for my 9 month old baby so they can lock their doors early and get it head start on counting down their drawers. While I no longer work customer service or retail I've never worked somewhere where I was allowed to just close early cuz I wanted to go home a little bit early.

Never open closed at 10:30AM employee vehicles in the parking lot, but closed every single time no matter what time of day I go.

Completely and utterly unreliable. Close whenever they want. Need more staff but doing nothing about it. Should be closed down.
