AWFUL, Currently renting an apartment for college. These people are a true definition of slum lords. Apartment has mold in kitchen and no running water and these people don't care. They blame the owner. Don't rent from these people.

Charged me $400 for a “broken” microwave handle… the microwave was from 2007. Edit: $360.12 we covered 1/2 ($180.06). When I called asking for a receipt to verify a microwave handle being $360. I was met with hostility and choice words for the interaction from Tammy. Very unprofessional and rude.

I have owned a unit at. Blue Ridge Vista for many years. Have had excellent service from Advanced Property Management, especially from Tammy.

Completely outrageous parking policy that you are forced to sign in order to park like a functioning citizen. Forced to sign away your rights to get a basic parking spot, and they are essentially a brick wall when it comes to any sort of repairs and leaks from other neighboring apartments.

Tammy, Derrick and the rest of the crew are awesome. My daughter has rented for 2 years and no matter what the request or complaint they always try to fix it within a timely manner. We moved my daughter into a different house and to say the house had been destroyed by subleasers was an understatement. Tammy went beyond to expedite cleaning and maintenance, Derrick was at the house within a few hours and had half the things repaired and working. He had a smile on his face and was so pleasant. The house is still a work in progress but they really stepped up and helped turn this disaster around.

Honestly not surprised by the other horrible reviews. As someone else said this is a truly unprofessional group of people. We’ve been contacting them about a water issue in the yard of our condo units for over a month. It’s a standing puddle of stagnant water. Mold. Mosquitoes. It stinks.I’ve been lied to on multiple occasions and they STILL haven’t attempted to fix the issue. It’s just a leaking underground water line.Incredibly rude customer service as well.

Whitney from Advanced Realty was incredibly helpful when my roommate and I were trying to find an apartment. Despite the company running out of units the prior week, she personally reached out to my roommate and I to see if we were interested in checking out a new listing they just received. Once my roommate and I agreed that we wanted to sign a lease, she personally told us that they would not contact anyone else until we signed the lease and paid the deposit. I can definitely tell that they care about their tenants and I cannot think Whitney enough for being so helpful.

I can only speak for the place I am in, as this company owns multiple properties, however, I'm giving ARPM 1 star for a combination of reasons that might not be so bad individually, but are just insufferable when combined. The place is small and overpriced for the size; it's a studio apartment so I expected that, and honestly do not mind it as it has the space I need to live. What really has made me completely resentful of this company is the fact that the oven/stove is of such poor quality that it is not usable, and I will now have to either get a hot plate or eat food that does not require cooking for the next year until my lease is up. I'm including a picture of the burner. No, it isn't broken, they really are so poorly made that the coil itself is unstable and will either fall to the side or down into the hole when a pot or pan is placed on top. It is completely unusable, and therefore unacceptable, and my guess is the result of the company having bought the absolute cheapest stove they could for the unit. So, if you want to be able to cook meals in your apartment, either rent elsewhere or make sure you check the kitchenware before signing with "Advanced" Realty Property Management.

Better late than never, I rented a property with this company for 2 years during my college experience, I loved the property, and it was a less than 10 minute walk to get to campus. I had an issue during the checkout procedure with their checklist, but the company took care of the problem, and said thank you to us for being good tenants. The employees, owners, and staff are kind, so if you’re a quiet tenant who follows the guidelines, you’ll have no problem getting along with this rental company.

I have been renting from ARPM for over 3 years and have zero complaints about them. The house I rent is great. I haven't had many problems with the house but when I have they responded quickly and professionally. I would take some of these reviews from college students with a huge grain of salt. I've known plenty of people who rent properties to college students and they all have nightmare stories to tell. If you behave like a rational and responsible tenant you will have no problems with ARPM.

Hustling to get a signed lease agreement on 26 Jan for a lease that takes effect on 8 August. No novel or rant necessary here, just not impressed with the quality of the documents or the manner in which my query was handled.

Putting up with Advanced Realty was one of the most nightmarish things I’ve had to do since moving to Boone. Many property management companies are slum lords, exploiting college kids whenever possible, and this company is no different. The first day I moved in, the apartment was so unbelievably filthy that even walking on the floors turned mine and my boyfriend’s feet black. There were mysterious goopy stains in the kitchen that had clearly never been touched by a cleaning crew. There was mold on the window panes and the electricity was surging in the bedroom electrical outlets, almost shocking us both when we needed to plug a lamp in (there was no overhead lighting in the whole apartment). Prior to moving in, the realtor that showed me the apartment promised that the running toilet would be fixed immediately before I moved in, which never happened. Whenever maintenance would come, they would barge in without any notice whatsoever, as well as the property managers who had absolutely no regard for privacy. One day I made a complaint on a forum post about the company (it was a comment amount tens of other comments about the company as well as others in Boone) I received a call from a woman named Tammy who literally wanted to fight me about that very Facebook comment which was the most unprofessional thing I’ve ever seen a company do. I have many friends that rent from this company that have had the same experiences as me and I highly recommend you rent from somewhere else if you’re looking for housing.

I had nothing but positive experiences with Advanced Realty in the four + years we rented through them. Every maintenance request was answered quickly and efficiently. Their communication was great, especially working with both us (as renters) and the homeowner. All my interactions with them were hassle free (even during covid). We rented without ever seeing the place ourselves when we moved to Boone. They made the process extremely easy given the circumstances. While we didn't originally intend to stay in the house as long as we did, we didn't have a single complaint in our time working with them. What's more, we wound up buying the house and transitioning out of the contract was painless and hassle free. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience and if we ever decide to rent this house out ourselves we will most certainly be giving them a call.

Typical slumlords preying on college kids. Snaggy mtn apts require driving UP a dirt road with a hill. They gravel it maybe once a year in August to fool you but it washes away in a month from rain and cars. Every time it rains a lot or snows even a little you better have a 4 wheel drive or heavy vehicle or you risk sliding off a literal cliff. Saw an SUV that fell off it once and I don't wanna know what happened. I was told the owner refuses to pave it because of the cost. It's not a state maintained road so it is never cleared. Best we ever got was a plow company came through when it snowed 17 inches and that just created a layer of ice. Had to live with a friend for 2 month in the winter because I was tired of having AAA pull my car out of the ditch which happened about a dozen times and eventually crashed my car and had to have the front bumper replaced. Honestly should have taken them to court. Another time a friend tried to take me up and got into a collision with another car because the other car couldn't make it up the snowy hill. My apartment had mice issues the entire time I lived there, probably spent $100 on traps over 2 years. If you need free parking just go to Snaggy Mountain apts because they can't tow you, they told me that in person. Roommate broke the lease and his car sat there for 6 months. My friend also had to move in with me and help me pay the rent because they were going to evict me if both halves of the rent were not paid. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars and not 1 is if you find a nicer apt complex by them you will probably be fine and they did replace my incredibly old stove when it finally broke. They also say in their leases that they can come into the unit at anytime which is illegal under NC law regardless of if it's in a lease you sign. They did usually give 24 hours notice though.

You will not find a better more caring realty agent than Macy. She will give her all into making sure you find what you need and that you're leaving with nothing to worry about. She knows we got enough to stress about, this dosnt need to be one of them.
