This place makes it almost impossible to cancel there membership, as well it seems they are scam artists as well, I saw they sent another person to collections. They sent my account to collections for $38 they then acted like they didn’t do anything I had to go to the corporate level and threaten to sue them for false collection reports for them to remove it all that work for them to try and get $38 extra is actually insane. I hope the owner loses some weight to if he’s gonna be scamming all this money he kind as well use his own equipment.

Hey! so i went to this anytime fitness got a membership with them all looked well, never ended up actually going in to workout since i found a better gym across town thats not always slammed (DVAC) anyways figured id save some people from getting scammed from the general manager, i went in after about 5 months of not using the gym to cancel my membership, manager man typed up all sorts of stuff on the computer and whatnot saying your all good memberships cancelled dont even worry about bringing in the key-fob!skip forward 5 months to a debt collector calling me saying i owe them $140 for not cancelling when i walked in again today and brought it up manager acted clueless and i even mentioned some stuff he said when i last went to cancel told me to call some number and pay some employee to cancel membership!just wanted to leave that there, this gym sucks and is always slammed, and they also scam customers who cancel their membership!

This gym is okay. I'd say the majority of machines are in decent condition, albeit old. There is a severe lack of small numbered plates (2.5lb, 5lb, 10lb). The lack of new equipment is startling, especially since they're charging $30+/mo. Pretty much any other gym at this price point would have better equipment and more plates. This gym being open 24/7 is a major plus though

Great variety of equipment, lots of good options. 6 benches is more than I see typically. Tons of machines, although a few showing somw wear. Gym culture is healthy and respectful.We were in town for a week and had to get guest passes for every day. Cost was $10 per person for the first day, $5/day after. That is a bit awkward as the dozen other gyms we have visited nationwide have week passes.All in all, it's a solid gym. No major complaints!

I scheduled an appointment to get a tour and join Anytime Fitness in Boone after my gym closed earlier in the year. I arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment time and remained 15 minutes after. I stood outside the door expecting someone to meet me for the appointment because the door was locked and no one would let me in. I called and left a message at the office and I attempted to email to inform them of the situation. I even asked a member what I could do and was told that the manager would have to see me and let me in. After wasting my time driving there and standing around, I would never recommend scheduling an appointment at Anytime Fitness in Boone. I have not received any callbacks from messages nor have I received any follow up emails.

I have been trying to get a membership at this gym for over a MONTH now. I have been trying to give them my money for a MONTH! Not only do they a) not answer their phones b) not reply to emails, they c) will NOT SHOW UP FOR APPOINTMENTS YOU SCHEDULE ON THEIR WEBSITE. I've been stood up TWICE now by this place when literally all I want to do is make a membership and lift some weights. What do I need to do in order to get in contact with them? Send smoke signals? Do a dance in their parking lot? Summon them via séance? Absolutely awful.

Not up to standard like most other Anytime Fitness gyms that we have been to. Equipment in bad shape, dirty and dusty. Torn rubber on weights, flat boss’s balls and many missing weighted balls, guess they flatted and they pitched them. They had a cleaning service there in the middle of the day when people are working out, how can they clean well working around us. Owner just taking money out and not caring.

Anytime Fitness, and Boone, are some of the best locations I've ever had the opportunity to do "workouts" and "spend free-time doing outdoor related exercise." Especially pleased to use Anytime Fitness in Boone with a near perfect location no matter where you are! Go App State. Kind Regards.

Very bad weight area is very old and might be even rusted not clean at all look very messy and gym mats are not covering the whole floor area need improvements especially in free weight training area

I had a membership here before for 1 year. Hated it finally got out of the contract but I just found out they fraudulently made another contract under my name and they have none of my contact info anymore as I told them to delete it. 4 months later now I have an account in collections cause I didn’t pay it I never know I had to pay it I never signed anything. Be careful going here they could open account fraudulently in your name

It's a nice gym, but the condition of the equipment is not that great considering how much I pay per month. I go to another Anytime in my hometown and it is like an entirely different gym because it is so much cleaner. People are supposed to actually wipe down the machines but not very many people do that, so hopefully there will be some sort of accountability for that in the future. I do like the environment and the layout of the gym though.
