Typical Auto Zone

People are usually vey quick to complain. It is almost an American pastime. This is not a rant ,rather it is a rave review for an AUTOZONE employee in Boone NC . His name is Justin Payne.
My car's Airconditioner would turn off after 1.5 hours. If I stopped for gas ,then restarted the car ,it worked for an hour ...and so on.
Apparently I need to check my Freon level and add some if low.
I barely know where the hood of a car is ( kidding ) ..but Justine could not have been more helpful.
This employee did what every boss/employer would want from an employee.Justin , guided me through every step.
I am a happy stock holder of AZO for 10 years. Today was my first time to ever go into the store.
I hope his superiors see this and acknowledge this to him. He is a keeper!

Seth!!!!! Seth helped me the whole day figuring out what parts to get, things to do, and how to fix my car. Once I got the car to him he took over and finished the job for me. He was absolutely amazing and never made me feel bad about anything. Everyone needs a Seth!

Mike and Justin were both really helpful with my partner's battery issue in her 2003 Escalade, including testing and changing it over two visits. Truly customer service that's IN THE ZONE(AUTOZONE!)

I had several warning lights come up on my car. I went to the Auto Zone and Justin, who was working that day, checked the lights. He told me the issue and fixed it for me. He was professional and knew exactly what to do! Both he, and Addison - the other employee working made what could have been a tough experience - very easy!! I am thankful they were available to help.

Possibly one of the most laziest people iv ever met in my whole life had a employee hang up the phone on me and I was being very nice and understanding when I shouldn’t have been after the poor service they gave me nick you need to be fired from the manager position. And get this I’m a ex employee go to orileys for good customer service and parts. If I could give a negative star I would. Terrible customer service they are very rude they have no knowledge about vehicles they rely all on that computer but not their knowledge.

I went in to get my brake light checked out, they told me there was nothing wrong and it shouldn’t be lit up, and that the light would go away in a week or two. I was hesitant to believe them but they insisted that was the case. A week and a half later my brakes and rotor need to be replaced due to driving on bad pads for so long.

First of all, I go to AutoZone quite a bit for basic auto needs that I know I can handle, and generally the service and selection are great. My wife recently had to replace a dead battery in a car that we seldom use. She went to AutoZone, and the first issue that came up was that the person assisting her didn't know what battery she needed. I guess that is understandable, but most of the time when I go there and need a part they are able to look up the proper part based on the vehicle make, model, year, etc. Wife says she had to look all that up on her own then tell the guy at the store which battery she needed. No big deal, but still a little strange that he couldn't look it up for her. The real issue arose when my wife had to install the battery herself, in the AutoZone parking lot, with the store associate standing beside her watching her install it. Again, not a huge issue, as installing a battery really isn't a complicated task. However, AutoZone advertises free battery installation as a way to entice customers into buying batteries from them (as opposed to Walmart, Advance, etc.), so you would think that they would hire people who know how to install a battery, or perhaps train their employees to do it. Or, if there is an employee who doesn't know how to install a battery, maybe have another store associate who DOES know how to install the battery come install it instead of having the associate who DOESN'T know how to do it stand there and hand my wife the tools to install it herself. Just a strange experience that I would not expect from Autozone.

Really friendly service. I had an engine light on while traveling through town, and they helped me out to get driving back down the road with peace of mind

We had a dead car battery and a guy by the name of Nick who I think was the sales floor manager (or something similar to that) was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our ordeal. He helped as much as he could and provided us a wonderful service.
I cannot rate Nick highly enough, hence why this store gets a 5 star rating from me.

Went here in February of 2024 to get my battery replaced after an emergency. Took them no more than 20 minutes to get me a new battery, and to get it installed. Quick service and they do it well
