This location is super quick and easy. They get you in and out, the staff is pleasant, and they even had one of their employees take me 10 minutes down the road to pick up my car after returning my rental. Most importantly, they had cars available! Highly recommend.

I called on a Friday to make the reservation the following Wednesday, that my insurance had set up. I was given the time of 4 PM on Wednesday to pick up my rental. Once I arrived, they helped me very quickly, but then installed on a vehicle like they did not have one in to rent. We went outside to do the official walk around and to only charge the small fee in which was needed for the vehicle. However, once following up on my bills, the next day realized they had took out $350 more than what was supposed to have been. They did tell me once I called that there was nothing they could do. After calling headquarters, they stated I should receive it in 24 hours.

I made a reservation for a rental car from Enterprise Boone NC a week ago. No problem with making the reservation on line. Enterprise Boone NC called me, the night before I was to pick up the car, half hour before they closed. To tell me “ my reservation with us for tomorrow, unfortunately I'm gonna be completely sold out tomorrow. I won't have any availability probably until Monday or Tuesday of next week.” And would not answer the phone when I called back. The call center could not confirm or deny the information. Just that “I had a reservation “. Frustrated!

Honestly, some of the best customer experience I’ve ever experienced. Steven and Matt truly understood my stressful car situation and provided quick and patient service. I had a problem with an Enterprise Car that was rented. I am on vacation and had to spend several hours of my vacation on this vehicle. Luke would not answer the phone so i also had to drive over to the office and waste more time. Then had to sit at the shop with the car. I wasted a whole afternoon on this car. Bad customer service.

The Enterprise in Boone is a complete cluster, poorly ran, and does not offer good communication to its customers. I would NOT recommend! My husband booked a 4WD full sized truck (a month in advance) since we would be driving to New York & possibly driving into winter weather conditions & a truck was needed to haul ski's as well. Enterprise called the day before our pick up.. my husband called back & spoke with a lady who confirmed his reservations and no issues were reported. When we arrived we were told on the spot the truck was damaged and the only thing available was a 2WD Rav...which wouldn't be as efficient in snow if needed. There was no effort on their end to assist us in getting a similair vehicle like we booked. The associate told us to check Charlotte or Wilkes for a truck.. we were not traveling south plus those places closed at 5pm. It was 430pm and we were leaving the next day at 6am. He also told us to check any airport to exchange vehicles.. which is pretty inconvenient to our already 12 hr road trip. Everything was done correctly on our end but this Boone location wasn't helpful at all. Also while we were in there, another customer had booked a minivan & it was unavailable as well. His associate just said "sorry I tried to call you yesterday." A 3rd customer came inside because their rental was overheating.. so just overall not a good business to work with.

I did not appreciate making a reservation & having it confirmed on the website, only to be told when I showed up, that they did not have a single vehicle available to rent...Not one.!!!I'm glad my ride waited...If they had just dropped me off, I would have been stuck there...The website needs to be able to recognize if the inventory does not meet the demand, & should update to allow that to be known to the customer, rather than falsely confirming a reservation...
