Goodwill Store and Donation Center offers a wide range of donated items, including clothing, shoes, accessories, furniture, toys, home decor, electronics, books, and household goods, all at bargain prices. With new items arriving hourly, the store is a unique shopping experience, offering one-of-a-kind finds every visit. The sale of these donated items funds employment and training programs that help thousands of people in the local community find jobs and achieve financial stability. Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina has been serving the area since 1926 and is ranked nationally as one of the most efficient charities. Customers praise the store's cleanliness, large book selection, and the convenient organization of clothes by size. However, some have experienced issues with higher prices compared to other retailers, as well as concerns about the behavior of some staff members, who were perceived as overly aggressive or rude. Despite these mixed reviews, Goodwill remains a popular destination for those seeking vintage, antique, and thrifted items at reasonable prices.
I love that this Goodwill location has VHS tapes! A lot of DVD’s to look through, I found a couple that really interested me.
The store is well organized but items are kind of pricey, especially in the homewares section. A lot of stuff to look at. Not a lot that I would pay the lsited price for however.
