Last two months I get a text saying they couldn't deliver propane because it was full. Yet... last month it was around 80% and now it's below 60%? I was on the monthly top-up plan. When I lifted the lid today to check the gauge it really did seem like it hadn't even been touched since the last time I looked at it a month prior. I am just basing that on all the pine needles that fell off when I lifted it to open. If someone had been there 10 minutes prior (didn't hear a truck), would those pine needles have been on the lid? I can't say for certain as I was in my office but it feels like someone didn't even get out to check but I don't know. Either way, this company has been nothing but a nightmare. The customer service call center is impossible to deal with and speak to. I have no idea how else to get help but to leave a bad review.

You delivered gas August 17 and found a leak. You came back out a fixed the leak and filled the tank but did not notify me that the gas tank was not reconnected to the house. This is a vacation house and I was there this week and found that the tank was not connected. Today is September 11. I used your chat feature to schedule service and very clearly stated that no one will be at the house until September 22 yet you scheduled service for tomorrow. When I called just now, I had to repeat everything multiple times. I am not confident that I will have someone out on September 22. Winter is coming and we need to get the gas connected back so we will have heat. It should not take this many weeks and calls to resolve the issue.So you provided a pleasant response with a special email to address my concern. I emailed and 2 days later no response. Where is the resolution?

The email response was clearly a form email response. It did not even acknowledge the problem that I had.

Your company is awful. I have tried for weeks to get someone to mark my lines so we can do some badly needed fence work. The call center you employ cannot understand what I need most of the time. I have no issue with people in other countries. They are just trying to do their job... I know this. But, this center specifically must be the cheapest option you guys could find because they CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT PEOPLE NEED. They sent out a guy to fill my tank twice when it was full and that was not what I Needed. The guy said he gets constant complaints from customers because of the call center. THere is no way to get ahold of anyone here in the states to get any help. I have had to cancel plans to work on this twice now and lost two people that were going to help me because they have other work that started. I would give ANYTHING to be able to get my gas from literally any other company besides Amerigas. This has been beyond a nightmare.

You have ripped me off over the last couple of years. You are still billing me for gas that was removed and I went to a new provider who replaced the your tank. I also understand that you are losing up to 50 accounts per month here in the up-country of North Carolina. Your are just a poor business to deal with.

I have my gas refills on the automatic plan and I never have to worry about running out. That is a great plan. I am very satisfied with my service from amerigas!!!! The best gas company to do business with.

I own my own tank and Heritage (AmericGas) had the best prices. So, I completed the paper work and was told someone would be in touch with me to set up a safety inspection and delivery. This was on December 30. I explained to them that we live on a private, gravel road with a steep grade and that, although we were at 15%, this delivery was needed quickly because weather and impassable roads are a true issue during the winter months. I was told "rest assured. We are the largest Propane supplier in the US" and they "would deliver promptly." Three weeks and several phone calls later (to a call service center 1000s of miles away), we are out of gas. This is our heat source. I was assured and promised delivery from the service call center customer service representatives. I was told today that they have someone on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and that this would be made right. And, I fell for their lies! Now, snow and ice is in the forecast for the next week or more. So not only is Heritage not going to deliver, the other local and reliable propane companies may not be able to deliver. They don't deserve a 1-star rating - that is too high. For a family to be left without heat and in the cold is absolutely unacceptable. If you need gas, call any other local company that has a local office with local staff.

This USED to be a good company. I could order and propane would be delivered within 48 hours. Now it's a 7 day wait technically. I am on my 12th day and still no delivery. In addition they promised many times to call me one hour before so I can have access to the tank for them. Guy shows up, no phone call, no delivery. So guy leaves. Oh and wait until you call customer service, it's on the other side of the world. Good luck. You are going to need it with this company.

Worst service in the world. I've been waiting on a delivery since Dec of last year. It has been almost a month since order was placed. Would not recommend this gas company to anyone. I'm almost out of gas now.

Very poor customer service since AmeriGas took over former propane supplier - no local presence - unable to get answers from remote customer service reps about status of order and delivery schedule.

Call center in Ohio was not very helpful. Apparently only having a fireplace is not enough usage to qualify for this company service in Boone.

I can't even give them one star!!! I've never had such poor customer service. Beware! When you call the local number - in my case Boone, NC - it was answered at a call center in Cleveland, Ohio. I had a tankless hot water heater issue - ie no hot water caused by a gas issue - per error message. They were totally unresponsive. How could someone in Cleveland care about a customer in Blowing Rock, NC??? Answer: They don't! I have switched my account to a local gas provider and they've been unbelievable - Appalachian Energy. Do not use anyone associated with Amerigas!
