Y'all.. Melissa is a ROCK STAR. I've worked in banking for almost 7 years but I am just now going through my first mortgage of my own. Throughout the years, I've never worked with a mortgage officer as wonderful as Melissa. She has been incredible in helping my partner and I finance our dream of being homeowners. She is super informative, knowledgeable, very laid back, and honest as a saint. I'm so happy to call Melissa our banker!

My experience with Highlands Union Bank has been full of disappointments, delays, lying and dissembling,and the complete opposite of the alleged stellar customer service that they like to cite. They don't answer calls for assistance, delay applications for months, forget and lose applications, make mistakes that negatively affect credit scores and refuse to correct their mistakes. Their online banking is cumbersome and impossible to negotiate, their people are uncaring and inefficient. I am pulling all of my business out of Highlands Union as soon as I possibly can!

I have had numerous loans overthelastten years with the Boone branch. I truly thought I had found a great place to do business. How wrong I was. It may take a few months but I will remove every existing loan I have with HU. They have evolved into the worst customer experience provider that I have known. I would encourage everyone to beware of this bank.

Calling your local bank takes too long. Should not have to go through a main number. Also, website needs much improvement, is not user friendly as you have to login if you go to certain screens. Upgrade would be very helpful.
