Just shut the place down since it’s constantly temporarily closed. The workers here are so inconsistent anyways.

The pharmacy "supervisor" talks to people like they're imposing on their day. I had called to ask a simple question. Next thing I know I was transferred to a different person who would NOT give me her name. I listened to her but as soon as I tried yo ask a question, BOOM! "If you would stop interrupting me you would know". I ask her to please don't be rude to me, "I'll be smart with you if I want to". I ask her for her name, "I'm 'THE SUPERVISOR". Asked to speak with the manager, "What part of I'm the supervisor don't you understand ". I say so there's nobody above you, "how about I just ban you and you can't fill your meds here anymore". My favorite part of all... Can I have your corporate number, "You have Google, use it". Wow!!! Store manager calls me after the complaint I filed. Said she couldn't just ban me from there. Steps have to be taken in order to ban someone. I informed him that she had already called my Dr and told them to not send my meds there anymore. He said he'd look into it and call me back. Never heard anything back so called corporate again today. He just called. Well, now that I have filed a complaint against someone I don't even know, they don't want to fill my kids anymore! We need to put Walgreens outta business period! They make their own rules up as they go! Definitely won't go back there for anything! Changing all my meds from Walgreens!

I'm going to add my name to this long list of customers who think this pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The female Pharmacist was so incredibly rude. After waiting in line for my prescription that wasn't ready, and then further waiting for my prescription, I finally heard them call my name. The line was now even longer and I mistakenly thought this was like the post office..or even the DMV... where you wait a long time initially and you get to go to the front to finish the transaction. Boy was I wrong. I was told to go to the back, as there was a single line for everything. The pharmacist proceeded to yell out that I'm no more important than anyone else, and that I have a sense of entitlement. Literally berating me to the point where a gentlemen on line said her remarks were totally uncalled for. I asked if they were aware of how bad their reviews were. I was told they were aware and they DIDN'T CARE. She said it's entitled people like me that leave those bad reviews. And since I have never left them a bad review, I am taking that as an invitation to leave my first one. Given that my experience is similar to so many others, it may be time to address some of the issues at that location. Because when this many people have the same experience, there is clearly a problem.

The manager is the least helpful person that I have had to deal with in a very long time. She was unable to solve a very simple problem.

During the last week, I've needed two prescriptions, and both times, I was able to select to have them delivered to me within the same day, at no cost to me. I am really grateful for that service.

Went to get my RX filled on Saturday- told to pick up on Tuesday after Memorial Day. Came back Tuesday - not filled/ didn’t have it/ excuses, Came back Wednesday - they are supposed to be open until 9pm and I got there at 6:45pm and a paper sign was taped up saying they are closing at 6pm for the next three days - no reason given, no update on website or Google etc. Went back today, Thursday after TWO DAYS of missing my medication, suffering, and they wandered around not able to find it for 30 minutes. I complained and explained what had transpired - no apology. Nothing. No “we are sorry” - talked to the pharmacist - she didn’t care. I’ll be researching how to get my medication mailed to me or switch to CVS- no excuse for this level of unreliable and unfriendly service.

Spent half an hour on the phone trying to get someone in the pharmacy to answer the phone. Take your money somewhere they actually want it and care about you.

Pharmacy is closed for days at a time with no warning and i get that things happen but there is no way to easily transfer prescriptions to a new pharmacy bc when you call they claim to be open but aren't and if someone needed life saving meds and couldn't get in contact with their provider in time they would be SOL

We relocated to Boone 10 months ago and, since the Walgreens pharmacy where we lived was excellent, we transferred family prescriptions to the Boone location. Maybe it's the aftermath of Covid, but service here is slow, there is often limited register staff, I've observed rude behavior from apparently overworked pharmacists, they are frequently closed during normal posted business hours, and lines are often long.Three times now though, prescriptions I have transferred from Walgreens to another pharmacy have turned out to be significantly less expensive at the alternate pharmacy. I don't understand why.But I gave Walgreens ten months, but I'm moving all of our prescriptions to a more reliable and professional pharmacy just down the street.

We have dealt with Boone Walgreens pharmacy several times with problems getting prescriptions filled, more than once. The last time our doctor ordered pain med a month ahead, for specific pickup day. When we called in to see if med ready, we were told it was not filled and would not be for days, because it was out of stock.Guess it doesn’t matter if you give them a month notice— and even if med had refills since would be needed monthly. When questioned manager about this she was curt and offered no reasonable explanation except to say “we have so many university students on Adderall so we have restrictions on stock” (what does Adderall have to do with pain medication?)WE WILL NOT USE BOONE WALGREENS PHARMACY AGAIN— have switched to a great Walgreens pharmacy-in Mt City!!

After having surgery, the pharmacy was not able to competently fill the pain med prescription for more than two hours AFTER I arrived for pick up. Then, days later on a Friday when additional meds were needed, they told me they did not have any in stock and we would need to wait until Monday. The first statement in the pharmacy oath is to relieve pain and suffering, but this pharmacy does not value that as they offered no other options. After I continued to ask questions, they "found" that they DID have the meds in stock. While I was pleased that we got the meds, this was the WORST customer service I have ever experienced, never going back there.

I’ve only been to the pharmacy twice in the past three months and BOTH times it was closed for the whole day. I get that things happen but they definitely have more than one pharmacist and seeing how it happened to me the only 2 times I went I’m guessing it happens more frequently. If you’re going to randomly close it would be nice to at least warn patients who are supposed to pick up prescriptions. Even if it’s the morning of it would help because then we could make plans do transfer it to a Walgreens down the mountain. Luckily missing one day of my prescription isn’t that bad, but that won’t be the case with some people.

I was on hold with the pharmacy for close to 20 minutes and the woman i spoke to couldn’t have been more inconvenienced with my request to just simply transfer a prescription from one Walgreens to the next. Then she sighs frequently with annoyance and has the nerve to condescendingly tell me the Walgreens I’m transferring from will be open until evening “just as a disclaimer.” It’s not your business why I’m transferring, just be civil like I have been this whole time and forget this interaction ever happened, at least that’s what i plan to do.

This pharmacy is a total joke. They will call you incessantly with offers and supposed prescription refills. When you actually try to get some medicine expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes to even get to the window. And you may actually be lucky and get your medicine after all that time. This has to be one of the most inefficient, terrible Walgreens anywhere. I wouldn't buy a Q-tip from this place.

Not sure what the F is going on at this location but 2 times in the past 2 weeks I have been unable to pick up or submit prescriptions because " pharmacy is temporarily closed". That is there business. It is unacceptable and dangerous for patients. I am done with them!
