Nicest and most helpful staff I have ever worked with. They are very knowledgeable and concerned about how you are doing. Always trying to help you find ways to save money on prescriptions. I cannot say enough about each one that works at this pharmacy. Wish everywhere treated you this way!!!

This is an incredibly subpar pharmacy. It took them over 30 hours to fill a prescription, which was just a cream… A cream of which I will not be picking up as I’ve left to go out of town for 2 weeks. Each time I’ve gone to this pharmacy, I’ve had issues. The cashier lady got my insurances all messed up and just repeatedly said my insurance was out of date, meanwhile I had just gotten the insurance one month prior. Instead of making sure she had typed the info in correctly, she chalked it up to a deactivated insurance card. And, they’re still messing up my insurance as I apparently owe for this cream when I should owe nothing. They have no sense of urgency. Do better.

I’m aware this Walmart just won an award. Not sure who authorized that. I’m aware of the complications from Covid-19’s supply issues. I have two issues. Personal shoppers…have some manners. Don’t block in store customers. Say excuse me. Be helpful. I can go on about them. Walmart…if you only maintain one register with an attendant and require me to to check myself out please do not ever ask to see my receipt at the door. If you feel I’m competent enough to pay for “all” my groceries by myself at a savings to you by not paying employees then I will not make a stop to see your receipt checker. Bring back some workers at the cash register if you don’t trust me.

I have had the pleasure of giving this Pharmacy my prescriptions to fill over the past 6 years. Most recently Jarret helped me will a refill of a medicine that had been recalled. The Pharmacists and staff have always given the highest level of customer service.They deserve 10 stars, if available.

I have used the Boone Walmart Pharmacy for most of our family prescriptions for as long as the store has been open. We have always received friendly, professional service. Most times there is a short or no line.

Do not go to the pharmacy at this location as the pharmacist that is there today refused to give me my sleeping medication although this medication could have been filled yesterday and was verified by another Walmart pharmacy that it could have been filled yesterday and the Boone pharmacist refuses to release the hold on the med until tomarrow. Now take in consideration that they have filled said medication for the last 2 months without an issue while I was working in the area. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

I am a travel nurse and I have used several Walmart pharmacies throughout Nc and Sc. I was located for my job in Boone Nc and had been using that pharmacy for going on 3 months and have also used the Boone Nc Walmart pharmacy for previous times I was working there. On 4/27/2019 I went to refill my sleeping medication restoril as I had 1 left and I was going back home for a couple of days to Sc. I had to speak with the pharmacist as it had already been filled but not for the entire 30 days to which this has happened many times as my insurance only covers 15 days and the other 15 days I pay out of pocket for. This pharmacist stated that I could not get my medication filled d/ t I should have plenty left and that I could not get it filled until 4/28/2019. I told her that that was impossible and that I had 1 left and was going back home for a couple of day. She stated that she was correct and there was nothing that I could do that she was not filling it until the 28th. I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager and was denied as she was busy doing a health fair in front of the store. I went to the front of the store and spoke with the pharmacy manager and she stated that there was nothing she could do. I left and proceeded to drive back to my home in Sc. I went to the pharmacy in York Sc and spoke with the pharmacy tech about what occurred and she stated that it was indeed able to be refilled and called the Walmart pharmacy in Boone Nc and she stated that the pharmacist there was rude and put the pharmacist on hold and said that she was going to let the pharmacist there talk to the boone pharmacist. The tech then came to me and stated I am so sorry but the pharmacist in Boone Nc is REFUSING to release the transfer of said medication until tomarrow. I am deeply disappointed. If you look at my prescription history at Walmart you can see that I have been a customer for numerous years and NEVER have I had an issue prior to dealing with the pharmacist from walmart Boone Nc. Not only have I been very inconvenienced but I was made to feel like a drug addict by the pharmacist by the way she was talking to me and even stating "I can show you a calendar if you need me to do that". I am requesting someone to contact me asap about the above. I have been in the medical field for 35 years and I refuse to be treated this way. I do not treat my patients this way and this needs to be addressed. Thank you for your time.
