“Some of the items are overpriced. (Used merrells for $50. A dirty old Coach bag for $40+… really?) Just because it has a high retail value doesn’t mean it holds the same value used and at a thrift store after donation. Friendly staff and organized space!”
“I regularly donate to the Brevard Habitat. I have personally seen the fine work they are doing to provide deserving families with beautiful homes. Staff is always friendly and appreciative.”
“Excellent antiques and newer furniture. They load everything for you. Great staff and their help is substantial and gracious. Would recommend highly. Great store.”
“I’ve loved St. Phil’s for a long time and usually shop/donate every 1–2 weeks - most of my wardrobe is from there and they have unique home finds and fabrics too! I’m giving 4 stars because recent visits have been frustrating. There’s been confusion at checkout—twice I’ve been overcharged because the sales of the week weren’t applied (the whole reason I came to shop), and recently I was almost charged an extra $35 by mistake. I had to ask why my bill was double what it should be. The staff didn’t apologize, just asked for my understanding and that I need to keep them honest. Still ended up being over-charged $5 and I wasn’t refunded, only given a same-day credit I couldn’t use. I get it’s volunteer-run, but the register matters- and the new volunteers weren’t focused or present. I hope they receive more training and support—especially for regulars who want to keep coming back.”
“I like the new lady with the long dark hair...she is very helpful. She is always busy! The shoes in this store are usually all over the place. People seem to make a mess of the shoe aisles!”
“If you like good stuff, this place has it. Brevard has a lot of retirees that end up dying in the mountains. Their belongings end up here as your new treasures! This place is clean and spacious.”
