The worst pharmacy!! Staff is seriously so unhelpful, rude and disorganized. I was on hold for 40 minutes, just for them to tell me to call another pharmacy. This has not been the first time i have been on hold for this long. If you need a pharmacy in Brevard, I suggest going to another one... this Walgreens is awful.

I’ve been utilizing Walgreens in Brevard, NC for the last 4 years or so. I utilize AARP medication plan. There has been only a handful of times that I’ve gone to pick up my preordered medications and received them at that time. Mostly the favorite saying is they’re still working on it and it’ll take an additional twenty minutes to get them ready. This of course goes into another minimum 30 minutes! Totally Frustrating!!!

I’m curious how consumers are supposed to obtain their medications when “the system is down” for days and the store is temporarily closed. Went to another Walgreens to get my mothers seizure medication and had to pay cash for a weeks supply because Brevard’s system hadn’t been turned on and updated. 1) this could be considered Medicare/Medicaid fraud. 2) This is completely unacceptable given I tried to resolve this issue several times last week before the store closed and was met my unprofessional staff. Yes, our country is a crap show right now, yes we are all understaffed, no that doesn’t make it ok.

Seriously understaffed Waited over 30 minutes to have a prescription refilled just for them to hang up when they finally answered. Then when I attempted again I waited over an hour for no one to ever answer the phone. The store was closed (they close the whole store at 6:00pm) and nothing on the automated system said no one would be answering my call...I waited 30 more minutes and finally gave up. I will be moving my prescriptions to one of the local family owned pharmacies.
