“We have been good friends and clients of Elizabeth Ellison for decades!! We own several pieces of her exceptional work. Her paintings are beautiful and we rarely leave our visit empty handed. Her love of nature and Western North Carolina is evident in every piece she does! We heartily ❤️ recommend a visit to her studio in Bryson City!Tony and Leslie Scardaci”

“Awesome place to stay. Several cabins available. Had to come back and add some to this review. Nice and secluded spot to just relax. First thing I do is check the toilet paper situation. After years and years in the Army, TP is just a comfort I dont like going without. Unlike commercial joints, they actually had a nice charmin type of paper. It's the little things that make us happy.
Remember you are visiting the mountains and the drive leading to the cabin is steep. Make sure you got the pep to move up the hill and brakes to stop on the way down.
My second morning I awoke before the rest of my crew and just sat outside and relaxed watching the morning come to us. So relaxing to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle of the city.
You will not be disappointed by your stay here. The hot tub sits just down a slight hill from the house. It could use a few more lights or a set of rope lights leading to the pool, sais the city women who were with me. But as a side note, if you bring a woman who is petrified of the dark, don't look back at the house after a few hours and wave and say hello friend. That girl came unglued. Funniest thing I seen in awhile.”
“This is just a wonderful store. Most if not all of the goods in there are locally made. There's a wonderful selections of soaps, towels, art, pottery, and so much more. It's also a good place to pick up Ashe County Cheese, one of my favorites. Customer service has always been very pleasant too, if you want to know the story behind something there they've always been happy to tell it.”
