McKinley Edwards Inn is a lovely and family-friendly inn located conveniently near downtown Bryson City. It is just off the main drag, offering a quiet setting surrounded by trees with beautiful grounds. The accommodation is excellent, featuring clean, comfortable, and very cozy rooms. Some rooms have their own deck, a lovely touch for fresh air. Guests praise the wonderful views, including mountain views and a view of a koi pond. The breakfast is consistently highlighted as amazing, delicious, fresh, and fabulous. It is an upscale Continental breakfast with homemade items served daily. Guests enjoy it in the lovely dining area or on the beautiful terrace and patio, which also features games. The staff and owners are described as very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and kind, offering great hospitality. The inn’s great location is ideal for hikes like Deep Creek, the Road to Nowhere, boat trips on Fontana Lake, and much more. It provides a wonderful and magical experience, highly recommended for anyone in the area.
What a great place to stay! My wife and I enjoyed: A very nice room with private balcony; a delicious breakfast each morning; beautifully kept gardens and grounds; superior service; convenience to downtown attractions and restaurants. Planning to return.

Another delightful stay at this lovely Inn. The quiet mountain setting is a wonderful tonic to city life. Excellent breakfasts! Jaimi and Ryan even left us a charming anniversary card and flowers in our room. We highly recommend this place.
