After the new staff took over the following issue are obvious. The service is horrible since this change. The current young lady acts as if she is too important to help anyone. She is insulting, rude and argumentative. Even a nonprofit should ask the staff to dress to a business casual level. Additionally, the prices have gone up to Walmart status. $20 for a used vase? $5 to $20 for used pots with coating scratched off? Finally, I stood by waiting for service while the staff had lunch and talked about how they were excited to take donations home for themselves. One said, "when that comes in it is mine". I wonder if they are selling online personally?

Couldn’t stay in the store for more then a minute because the smell of cigarette smoke is so bad.

Was here yesterday and left with 3 bags full and a hand sewn king quilt all for $27. Lots of great finds and really nice people.

Never open when the website says they are. Try to donate to them or purchase from them and they are always closed.

Organized store. Lady was pleasant. Dropped off donations. Help was offered, not needed. Parking out back. Masks. People were buying things.

I've been shopping with PAWS (placing animals within society) since the inception of a thrift shop. Volunteer operated with all proceeds going to their animal shelter. The shop is extremely neat and clean. Nicer, high end clothing, tons of books, baby clothes, collectibles. This is not a $1 clothing store or .25cent Knick knacks, the items are in very good shape and always clean. The shop is a small house and it's chocked full! The staff is friendly and always so busy as the donations are abundant and items move quickly. Also customers may purchase a discount voucher to spay or neuter an animal. Parking is tough and I recommend backing into the parking spaces so it easier to get out.

I love this place. It supports the only no-kill animal shelter in Swain county. Great finds and well priced clothes.
