At first I loved coming here.Man was very nice ,he would deliver furniture to my door free . Only a few blocks I live from the place. But once I was there with the woman working I was charged extra for anything I brought to be delivered to my place. I have many neighbors who had ,still has things delivered free to their door. But for some reason Woman charged me.Last time I was there my neighbor knocks and tells me that there is a chair I wanted for $75.So I go up. The chair was raised to $135.I ask the woman if I can have the chair for $100.She says no .I will give it to you for $110.I say ok.I get up to pay.And she says $25 extra for delivery 3 blocks away. She thought I was stupid like I did not know she was charging me $25 extra to get the full $135 ! Chair was $75 at first she knew I was coming my neighbor said. So she raises the chair to $135. Goes down $110 but turns around wanting $25 more .Never going there again! It hurts when neighbors say what they buy and get delivered is no charge to their place. But I am charged!I don't like sneaky people!Man is nice! But watch out for this Woman!!!!!

We seen online that Stover's was having a tag sale and looked at some items online that we were interested in. So we stopped by and looked around a little before we decided to get a dinner table with chairs. Mr. Stover saw that we were interested in the set and he gave us a even better price than it was tagged at. We got a great buy on this set, it is a much sought after older name brand that sells for much more online than we paid for it here. Stover's is definitely a great place to go when they are having a tag sale. Lots and lots of a big variety of items at great prices.

I purchased a poster from Stover Auctions in North Caroline via an online only auction. The description was advertised by the seller as a RARE Original Alphonse Mucha Poster from 1896. I paid $3,132.00 for the item. I received the item via mail from the seller. Immediately, it was clear the poster was a cheap reproduction. I am not an expert, but it is easy to tell something that is relatively new versus something that is 100+ years old. In this case, the item is in a frame, but with no glass. Upon touch paper is glossy, plastic feel about it. The paper was definitely not 117 years old. The seller should absolutely have known this is not an original. Furthermore, I contacted a company in NYC who are the foremost experts on Mucha Posters in the world. They informed me that the original only came in 28 3/4 x 80 1/4 in. size. This version is 14 ½ x 39 ½ in. So it is definitely a fake.I reached out to Brian Stover who is the owner of the auction house. He claimed that they heavily researched the item and wrote “trust me, I honestly thought it was real” with a hardball not invoking terms of the auction. Despite the fact that this was a clear misrepresentation on his part, he flat out refused to issue a refund and allow me to return the item. Having an internet seller represent an item as an original and it turns out to be an obvious reproduction is unacceptable. I would never, ever do business with Brian or his company again and recommend staying far away from them.
