TIMS heating and air company has always been the company I trust.I bought my unit from them 10 years ago. I have only used them 3 times in that course of years. I rely on their honesty and most important expertise Tyler educated me at my request the problem and solutions .As a senior citizen the prices work for me. Don't know what kind of service they give. My problem is. No senior discount and won't bill. Most seniors live from month to month. By end of month we are brok.

Seems like you’ve had reviews already about your driving. Learn how to drive! The left lane is for PASSING not RIDING!!!! Everybody has to pass you in the right lane! It’s disrespectful, dangerous, and ITS THE LAW!!! KEEP RIGHT, PASS LEFT!!!! If you cant drive,(Or park ( read other reviews)). How can you do other things reliably?

Unprofessional. Illegally parked & sitting in their truck while blocking the pedestrian sidewalk in downtown Wilmington. The world revolves around them. Wouldn’t recommend.

Fri eve I lost AC, no warning, with weekend guests preparing for bed. Called Tim H&A svc dept and what followed was a grand experience on many levels. Chad came and made everything "all better". Not only did he correct our problem, he showed us a true gentleman. You know, there are not many of those left. I found a friend. I am so happy with my service and I can honestly say, I enjoyed the encounter. Thank you Chad and thank you Tim. Always a pleasure dealing with you.Service: HVAC system repair

I called Tim and a couple hours later my hvac unit was fixed and running like new again. I was not on the schedule but they fit me in very quickly. The job was complete in under 5 minutes. Chad and Trent were nice and joking around with me. It’s nice when the company you call is not only qualified to complete the task but also personable

My HVAC went out this past weekend. I called the company that installed it 2.5 years ago and I couldn't even get a call back. I called Tim's for the first time and they responded friendly and promptly. Art came out and stayed with it until he had us cold air again. He even called to follow up on his visit and let me know parts were under warranty and will take care of us. I will use them again for sure and recommend them.Service: Repair HVAC

I discovered Tim's Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc through Piedmont Gas, as they are a recommended installer of Natural Gas.Of the three suppliers recommended by Piedmont Gas, Tim's was the only provider who seemed to care about the potential job. Tim's came out and worked up a quote for what I was looking at doing, and they responded with a quote, as did the other companies. The Three quotes were all in the same range. The quotes were all more than I could afford. At this point, I re-thought what I wanted to do, and Tim's was the only company to requote based on what I asked.Justin Lea from Tim's is the person who responded to my request and needs, and Justin and his people are why this business gets my five stars.Tim's Heating & Air Conditioning installed the gas plumbing and hooked up my new gas stove. At this time, Tim's made an offer to convert my gas fireplace from propane to NG for a very completive price. This price was half what the original fireplace supplier quoted. I declined the offer as I'd already committed to the original supplier. It turns out that turning down Tim's proposal was a significant error on my part. The work performed by Tim's Heating & Air met my expectations. The original installer of the fireplace came out to complete the start-up and could not get the fireplace working. They left and never returned, and they never got paid for the conversion kit they installed. It's March now, and I called Tim's and asked them to fix the fireplace. I tell them we can do this when it is coinvent for their work schedule. I Did not need a fireplace in the spring or summer. Justin said he would get back to me.In Sep. Justin emailed me and said he could send a tech out to check the fireplace. I told him mid-October would be better.Tim's tech comes out and looks at the fireplace. He can't get the fireplace to start. The tech takes the fireplace apart, cleans everything, and again tries to start the fireplace. He was able to get a small flame going. This flame was nothing like when the fireplace had been connected to propane. The fireplace was working, and the tech left. That night I tried to start the fireplace, and it would not work. The next day I called Tim's and complained. Justin called back and said he would send the tech out again.Long story short, the tech discovered that the original NG gas valve assembly was defective because the NG valve had been used with propane. The short story is about gas pressures and what a gas valve is designed to do.I ordered a new gas valve, and the tech came back and installed the valve; now the fireplace works.Tim's fixed the fireplace, and the original installed broke the fireplace and had no clue how to fix the problem.Again thanks to Justin Lea and Staff.

I had my AC serviced a week ago. The technician said my units were perfect. He checked and cleaned everything. Today.. One week after he left. My AC isn't working right. I had another technician come look at it ( from Tim's) apparently I am now 1 1/2 lbs of freon low... He didn't know why but I got charged $277 . I had to pay for freon and labor. I'm not to happy and will be calling the office when they open. I'll update later. My unit worked fine until now...update: I was refunded the 277, but had to call again... Now I have a leaking coil..2 hours labor 1095$.... Not real happy right now, almost500$ a hour labor. To fix a completely good system...
