If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. The customer service is indescribable. If you need any help at the self-checkout then you probably should just go somewhere else as putting on the "need assistance" light is ignored. Not only is customer service training a great need but cultural competency and awareness should be included.

Consistently out of the prescriptions that are ordered. Terrible communication. The last visit the employee mishandled the prescription where the pharmacist needed to complete video research to see where it went. No communication afterward. I constantly have to follow up with the pharmacy to see if our medicine is in stock.Today, I was the fourth car in line. Got to the window and they closed down the pharmacy while I sat at the window. The frustrating part was they looked at me like I came at the wrong time.Completely frustrated at the service industry in today’s environment.

I usually have no problems with CVS but as I was going in tonight to make a purchase for one thing, a lady (her name was Debbie or Dottie) that works in the front was just loud and seemed to have a personal conflict with the other associate (who I think his name was Brandon). As I was walking to checkout, I notice that both self checkouts were unavailable. The lady associate kept saying out loud (maybe even loud enough other customers could hear other than myself), “I’ve said my piece. You can talk about me tomorrow if you want to.” It was highly uncomfortable and inappropriate. She was just repeatedly saying this while the young man (the other associate) seemed to seamlessly notice I needed help, ignored the lady’s ranting, and offered to assist me at the check out. This seems like a lady who should not be working in customer service. It was uncomfortable. There was unnecessary tension in the air and it was just an unpleasant experience. Kudos to the young man who assisted me. It seems that lady does not need to work for CVS.

I have always loved CVS but Lord help…. There’s an older lady they have working in the front now and I was shocked and amazed by the “service” I received last week. She asked me at least 6 times before I got to check out if I was “ok and finding everything ok”…. I’m not exaggerating… Literally intentionally came to the isle I would be on to ask me this…. Of course, I felt I was being profiled and passively aggressively harassed… Once I got to self-checkout- she literally came over to me to continue asking me if I was “ok”…. And tried to coach me through the check-out. I was baffled…. I remained respectful because she seemed old enough to be my mother…This lady needs some serious diversity and sensitivity training and professional development. IF she is doing this to others- Someone is going to unleash wrath….. Please Get her

Everything worked. Coupons and extra bucks.Wow, some reviews are very harsh. Maybe all these people who gave very harsh reviews wanted to be VIPs. Like drop everything you do and attend to me. I hope they know that it is always first come first serve.

I kinda feel sorry for these overworked pharmacy workers. I'm sure they are doing the best they can, trying to help customers and be polite. The long lines are not their fault at all. The truth is, CVS is a large greedy corporation that cares only about one thing - profit. The top executives at headquarters are making millions off the backs of the everyday workers. So I try to be as nice as I can to the pharmacy people since I know they've been on their feet for hours without a break.

8/2022: Still the absolute worst pharmacy in the state of North carolina. With a 2.2 Google star rating it is amazing they stay in business. Obviously CVS corporate cares about as much as CVS on University drive in Burlington. Otherwise they would just close it and fire everybody who works there. They randomly decided Not to fill a prescription for my 80-year-old mother following a knee replacement surgery. The only problem was we had to pay for cash and we knew that but they never even gave us the chance. She ended up spending 12 hours in absolute agony crying throughout the night. I asked to speak with the pharmacist and was told she was too busy to come to the phone. Pretty sure that's why she's there to answer questions. Otherwise she's just a pill counter. These people should be put down for making an old woman suffer.2/2020: Absolutely the WORST pharmacy in NC. My prescription order is wrong every single time. I always have to go back a second time to pick up a prescription that is "On Hold" even though an email and text say they are ready. Every Single Time. Seriously, Every Time. Making me come back 30 min later, out in public, during a stay at home order. Ridiculous.

Much better service! I see new staff behind the counter at the pharmacy. They seem well trained and not so stressed compared to the last crew I had been dealing with for the past two years. Give them a break, every pharmacy is busier now than ever

The reviews seem a bit harsh for this place. The lines can be slow but all pharmacies have a lot going on now a days. There's a guy whose name I can't remember but has a small nose piercing, he's really nice and helpful the couple times we have interacted.Guess I'll update if my experience changes.

Awful service, the staff is unorganized and the pharmacist is rude. This store seems like it's being ran by a bunch of people working individually and not listening to each other. Pure chaos! Long wait times for meds inside or out. Save yourself a headache and just drive over to another store.
