they are not accepting new customers so if you are a new customer, please don’t waste your time going here. go to publix across the street. after telling me my meds were in stock she said she couldn’t fill them bc i wasnt an existing customer. lol never heard this in my life but okay harris teeter. it would’ve been nice if they gave me information on where I could go instead of just sending me out the door because it almost look like discrimination based on the medication that I needed so I went across the street to Publix who was quick to fill my medication without issue.

Hellish Pharmacy Rotation Experience: I had a disappointing experience at this pharmacy and feel compelled to leave a negative review. I was assigned to work with S.C as a pharmacy student for a 4-week period in May 2018, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Throughout my time there, I felt that the pharmacist treated me unfairly by exaggerating, lying, and falsely accusing me of things I did not do. It is worth noting that I was the only person of color among the pharmacy staff, which led me to perceive the treatment as a potential form of racism.Regardless of S.C’s capabilities as a preceptor, I believe the situation could have been handled in a more professional and respectful manner. She could have taken the time to hear my side of the story, which I would have gladly provided, or alternatively, she could have chosen not to have me there in the first place. What surprised me the most was when she claimed that I had expressed disinterest in working with her, which was completely untrue, which really made me uncomfortable during the 2 hours on day 2 when I worked with her. I found this to be a clear fabrication and an attempt to find excuses to avoid working with me.If the pharmacist had reviewed the security tapes, she would have seen that I actively participated in filling prescriptions, answering phone calls, and even provided recommendations to patients. However, she did not witness this because it was her day off on my first and most of my second day. Not only were her arguments false, but it was very illogical. How could S.C. assess my skills when she was off both days? Additionally, I facilitated a prescription transfer for birth control from Florida. I heard from her pharmacist colleague that she has Lupus, a condition that can sometimes mimic symptoms of bipolar disorder. I wonder if this may have impacted her treatment of me, or if it was indeed influenced by racism due to my status as the only person of color. She even said I should write an action plan on how I should improve, which were a series of false accusations then berated me the next day because I did not write the plan-it would not have made a difference since she already decided the previous day she wanted me out. Honestly, what would I have written? I am not going to lie on paper just to fit S.C's narrative.Regardless of the underlying reasons, it is disappointing that she chose to handle the situation unprofessionally, which reflected negatively on her credibility. I would like to mention that S.C fills my father's prescriptions-he has patients who frequent this pharmacy, and he is aware of the truth and he knows there was a discrepancy between S.C's narrative vs what actually happened. Needless to say, he is not happy with the way I was treated. In fact, he raised the question of how B.S. (her colleague) would feel if the same thing happened to his son, who I remember saying works at Chick-Fil-A and was soon to attend UNCW. S.C should know that if she did not see it with her eyes, she should not invent it with her mouth.

Not sure what all these other folks have encountered but I have never received anything but prompt professional service from the staff at this Pharmacy. Maybe because I treat them with the respect and courtesy they deserve. Far too many folks have forgotten the golden rule.

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Pharmacist refused to fill a prescription on file because they had gotten a new prescription that increased the dose from 100 mg daily to 150 mg daily that had no refills remaining. I said to fill the old one and I would just take 1 1/2 daily (150 mg) until the doctor sent in more refills. She refused saying it was “unsafe”. Then she refused to transfer the prescription because that too was “unsafe”. I’m a RN ?.

I've never had a problem until my visit today. Dmitri truly needs more training. I called my refill in approximately 10 days ago & spoke with Dmitri - he did NOT follow through. He was clueless while I was there, and when asked about a price he said he would look it up and "get back with you". I would've been still waiting if it wasn't for Susan & Cheyenne. These 2 ladies were GREAT!!! Susan even took the time to write down ALL my current medications on file (something I asked Dmitri to printout). Thanks Susan & Cheyenne for your Pleasant demeanor & willingness to help!!

My husband and I have been going here for a few years now and we still love how personable and helpful each person is in the Pharmacy and really throughout the whole store. We would definitely recommend that people give them a try.

I had a great experience this past weekend in Harris Teeter. It was because of the effort from Tracey and Cora in the Floral Department. They went above and beyond to help me, and I appreciated it tremendously. Exceptional customer service is becoming a thing of the past, but I am grateful those two ladies showed me that it still exists.

Horrible customer. Do not follow up. Have tried to transfer prescriptions with no success. They loose paperwork, do not notify by texts. Went to save Monet with Goodrx. Good link on that. Go somewhere else.

Since Susan took over this pharmacy after Bo Spitler left, this pharmacy is incompetent and not customer friendly. After waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time for a pneumonia vaccination, I went to the counter and told the people that I was leaving. Susan then rudely chastised the lady who took my name for placing the note in the wrong place IN FRONT OF ME. No professional berates a colleague in front of a customer. Susan did not apologize but returned to her computer, where she stays. Unlike Bo, who knew customers by name and spoke with us each visit, Susan stays behind her computer screen, never introducing herself or forming relationships with her customers.On January 1, I received a text telling me that my prescription would be ready to pick up on January 3. Today, January 4, when I went to get it, I was told it was not ready. This has happened before.I will never understand why Harris-Teeter continues to tolerate this rude, pathetic, embarrassingly incompetent head pharmacist and staff. I do know that I will not continue to deal with them . Burlington has other pharmacies!
