I thoroughly enjoyed this Home Depot location during my visit yesterday. Very clean. Well organized. Excellent customer service. Very fair prices. Ample parking. Clean restrooms. Large selection. Not one single complaint.

It used you can trust and get friendly service, but as of yesterday you can't the really trust the service and friendly service does come anymore. My family was treated with no respect and belittle from the service tech. Sorry I called and will not do that mistake again. My opinion is to stay away....less headache and stress

I must say this store completely SUCKS!!! I have had to cancel EVERYTHING I tried to purchase from them!! Starting with the refrigerator that never showed up only to find out that it was on back order!! To having them measure for blinds to find out that they didn’t have the measurements and that they were supposed to give me the measurements!! I just purchased a brand new home and planned on spending a lot of money i this store!! I will be taking my money to Lowe’s!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!!

Employees seem poorly trained & irresponsible. I bought & paid for a patio table on 6/26/2020. It was last one available at any area stores. It would not fit into my car & I was told that I could pick it up later. I advised that I would have some one there with truck on 7/1/2020. I had driven 45 minutes from my home to Burlington store because of this specific item. I was assured that item would be at customer service area, ready for pick up. I sent my son, with truck on 7/1/

NOT happy with The Home Depot! We ordered a shed for pickup. When my husband went to pick it up, it would fit in our car. We wanted to then add delivery and pay to have it delivered. After hours of back and forth we were told by several people at the Burlington NC store that we would have to cancel the order and reorder, adding delivery. So, we cancelled. Now the website won’t allow us to have it delivered.

Stopped by the store today to purchase a new grill. Upon leaving the store they began to make announcements that they were closing for the day. As my wife and I attempted to place the grill into our vehicle, we realized we had underestimated the size of the grill by about 6". We decided we needed to make a quick trip down the road to trade out vehicles. I asked the man standing by the door if he would mind allowing my wife to stand near the door while I ran to get my truck. His response was "No, the store is closed!) I again attempted to explain, but he began laughing and shaking his head saying "We're closed". I left my wife with the grill so that I could go grab our pickup and upon returning, my wife said that she was harassed in my absence because she was standing outside with the grill after closing. I had purchased the item with my HD credit card and had emailed my receipt and she had no way to prove that it was hers. She felt like she was being accused of stealing. Both of us are health care workers and deal with the public daily. This is definitely not how you treat someone who just made a purchase at your store. I used to love our local Home Depot as there are a few really wonderful and helpful workers there, but after this trip, I am going to take my business elsewhere.

On 4/22/20, I tried to order 4 Ryobi lawn and leaf bags online, which said the local store in Burlington NC had them in stock. I tried to set up my Home Depot card to pay and it wouldn't let me submit the information, so I called to place the order, and after talking to 2 different people with a total of 40 minute wait times, I was able to order. I needed the bags quickly and was told I would get them on 4/24/20 if I paid a $33 shipping charge. I agreed. On 4/24, I received an email stating I would not get the order on time. Because I needed the bags ASAP, I tried to cancel the order online and it said I could not cancel. I ended up having to order other bags from Amazon so I could get them on time. The HD bags came on 4/30/20 when I wasn't home so I couldn't refuse them. Also, evidently, the bags were shipped from out of state, not sent from the local store where they had them in stock. I then received my statement in the mail fully expecting the shipping charges to be removed, but they were not. I called to request they be removed because I did not receive the bags when promised, and my agreement to these charges based on delivery date of 4/24, and they told me because of COVID-19, they could not take off the delivery charges. They said I could return the bags to the store. REALLY? I have been a really good customer, buying expensive items from you and that is how you treat your customers, especially during this trying time we are all going through? This is one of the very reasons people should stop buying from the big box stores and start buying from local businesses that have a heart for the community. If it matters to you, the order number is CA84058596.

NOT taking coronavirus or customers health seriously. Home Depot came to my home to measure for flooring. Didn't ask to wash his hands prior to touching every doorknob in the house. Didn't use hand sanitizer prior to touching every doorknob in the house. Didn't put disposable gloves on. Didn't clean/disinfect anything he was touching. Coughed without covering his mouth. Wiped his nose with his hand then touched door, doorknob, & wall. I am NOT happy. Home Depot has NOT taken REASONABLE STEPS to prevent virus transmission or protect Customers. Home Depot has NOT taken REASONABKE STEPS to practice basic hygiene while in Customer's homes.

I needed to order a shower stall for my mother who could no longer get in and our of a bath tub. The shower stall that I needed was not available in the store I had to special order it and have it shipped to the store for pick up. All of that was ok. The problem is that I am a disabled vet, and I normally get the 10% discount. But with Home Depot you cant get the discount when you have to order online, unlike with Lowes you can get it online as well with a verified My Lowes card. So this is why all Vets should shop at Lowes.
